Pitbulls are no more naturally violent than you or me.

Dogs are just like kids. If you abuse them they can develop a violent temperament or become very submissive or can even become bipolar and also more likely to switch to into the fight-or-flight mode.

Only the most pathetic people do this to dogs and if thye do it to dogs you can be sure they're doing it to kids and other easy victims.

abused pits + abused kids = same thing. if you want pits automatically put down, then you also want abused kids murdered. dogs can be rehabilitated much easier, faster and cheaper than people can, and dogs have a higher success rate. it is a scientific fact. but it's your opinion.

i have a pit bull that was used for fighting, i adopted him after he was rehabilitated. he has shown no aggression towards other dogs, and only once has he showed aggression towards a person, a guy that smacked me in he face while i was walking him(defending his master) now my arguement is that if you want pit bulls put down because of their abusive history, then you also want abused children killed on the spot. there is no difference,

I say ban stupid people not dogs. They're not naturally dangerous and I worked with these breeds, pitbulls and rottweilers in particular. So I can testify a dog of this breed is naturally really kind, clever, loyal and unswerving.Rare in people I mean. Don't forget every dog can hurt you and even kill you if attack. The difference for every dog can be made by an able and conscientious owner. That's all!

To be fair theres few pitbulls in the uk you would want to meet theyve been banned since 1991 so the only ones left are generally quite vicious as they are either used for dogfighting or as weapons becuz they dont carry a prision sentence like carrying a knife. The ban didnt help anyone theres more pitbulls here than ever and they havent got good breeding so the temperment is dodgy and then again the owners are awful too so all there ever is is bad owners

omg i love this. I used to own a pit as well (let me tell you i wouldnt trade him for the world and im having issues with the shelter he went to when we moved. Grrrr) and i completely agree with you. now if i can make my mum see that chows are the same a pits will be all good.
