I'd have to change my horse's name! This horse's name was Wild Rose, but I changed it as a friend advised me that they ALWAYS live up to their names! Of course, my son rides a quiet little QH in lessons named Spunky.....not.

Thank you guys.  I must, MUST post a new video, she's grown up -some.... She can still do this number with all 4 legs bent and literally going in all directions at once, but she does it less. I despair of ever taking her trail riding. Maybe when she's 9, lol? She's 5 now, that's "only" 4 more years. My parelli friend says she's right-brained, and therefore she finds comfortable places (like the dressage ring) and is VERY uncomfortable when I take her outside those places. sigh.

yes, we were OK, thanks for asking! This was 8 or 9 months ago. She's still a bit spooky and she did manage to dump me a few weeks ago. Totally my fault. In a hurry, and I grabbed a leather-cleaning wipe that was in my barn (long story, but not mine, shame on me), didn't look at the can and wiped my saddle off with it. As it dried (while I was riding), it apparently turned my saddle slick as glass. She spooked, and off I slid!! It's for cleaning car upholstery....

She's "four" here (not quite in actuality here, I think it was about 1 month before). She's sort of a Heinz 57 warmblood. Hanoverian daddy, so a Certificate of Pedigree, mom was a Holsteiner/ Appendix QH cross who's in the Oldenburg main mare book (daddy's registered, too, so if I decided to take her to an inspection, she'd be an oldenburg, I guess). I AM OK, but boy, this spooky stuff gets old!

She is just 4, at that time just a few months under saddle. We're at 10 mos, now, she's much better, but she can still move pretty quick! I must post a new video of her.....

Hey, ponygurl - I accidentally deleted your comment - all thumbs I guess.  She is a Hanoverian/Oldenburg, but really she's a Heinz 57, including a little QH, TB and Holsteiner, too! I'm pretty pleased with her at the moment...
