  • Man esas plantas que estan como base de tu acuario son de verdad o artificiales y como las conseguistes? Perú

  • And what is gowing behind the stone on the right side? Is is Hemianthus...? Anyway, very nice tank, I like the bubbles coming out of the glosso all the time :)

  • nice tank. just add long grasses at rear. small plants at front working backwards. adds depth enjoy xo

  • @Godric56 I need a type of plant that covers the bottom of my tank like a carpet suchas the glosso, but a plant that does not grow too rapidly any suggestions? Also what type of soil do I need for the plants to live? Now I am going to have fish in my tank also.

  • What kind of regulator body is that?

  • I think your tank looks great!

  • whats the best substrate for planted aquariums?

  • what moss is that? :D thanks

  • very good work, i envy you.

  • im being sarcastic but......i didnt know they made ADA certified fish tanks.. lol

  • looks awesome. think I'm ready to try a planted

  • how long will that co2 last before you have to do a refill?

  • It's so beautiful tank. I love it. May I ask how much did you spend on plants ?

  • How do you clean the tank? Thanks

  • wie heißt die pflanze die den ganzen boden einnimt??

  • It took me about 2 to 3 weeks to fully grow my carpet of glosso alot of work for glosso as it grown so fast..And some advice its alot like anything else try try try and try i have had alot of tanks before this one so that might be crappy advice but its the best i got try differnt things till it works for you and always listen and read alot

  • I don't know if you still read comments on this video, but I'm looking for some advice. I've got a 40gal, planted, but my plan is to upgrade to a 60gal cube. I did not plant the bottom, as yours is, to give the grass effect. I have a variety of Chain Swords, Ludwiga, and Red Lotus, and then Christmas and Java moss on drift wood.

  • Continued: How long will it take to set up the ground cover? Can I just do substrate and then moss and then mesh over the entire bottom? And then can I move my fish into straight away? I am concerned b/c I don't have the money to be running 3 tanks, I really need to shut down the 40gal as soon as I have the 60 gal running. I'm currently seeing power bills at $288/mo off my 2 existing tanks.

  • @xxWeaponX I've never planted carpet plants with mesh but, like HC, you could just plant them directly into the substrate with some tweezers. (make sure it's deep enough) You can just set them a few inches apart from each other and they will fill into a carpet with time. The time in which a carpet can be formed varies. If you want fast results, get some VERY good lighting, and co2 system. (diy co2 systems works as well) With that, you should have a very nice carpet of which ever plant you want.

  • where you bought the plant that covers the bottom?

  • Do you use soil or dirt?

  • Nice 90P.. gotta love those glosso. :)

  • 90-P is the model description of the ADA tank. Means: 90x45x45cm!

    My Guess for the Plants:

Echinodorus Tenellus in the left background

Glossostigma elatinoides, and maybe hemianthus micranthemoides behind the stone on the right. Because of the Video Quality i'm not able to identify all of the plants.

Hope that helped some of you guys

  • Hi can you please tell us a bit about your tank?eg:plants, tank size,gravel,lighting,etc.....

By the way it looks nice.

    thanks

  • Do all the ADA setups have an open top like that? I think I'd have moisture problems in the house in winter if my aquarium was open like that.

  • what kind of plant is that growing on the bottom everywhere?

  • @bdm8319 glosso

  • how tall does glosso get and where can i buy it? do you have to cut it with scissors

  • what type of plant u have there can u list it out for me? thanks....

  • what stones are those and were did you get them?

  • @Vancouvercanuckboyyy found them in my local woods tested them to make sure they were safe first though

  • You could spot treat it with excel or boost up the co2 and flow in your tank

  • @Godric56 is that seachems excel your talking about?

  • @elkingtr yep

  • It looks quite good...

I only would like the ROCK more to the center ;)

But can be that the gras plain is your center of attention so it is ok :D

I have a question, did you have ever had black beard algae, and how to get rid of it?

I got a little bit, but I can`t kill it somehow....
