  • This is so beautiful,Thumbs up if you would like to swim with Orca or Dolphin

  • you do realise wild orcas are on of the most dangeous mammals :L

  • @LittleMissBeth23 They are also some of the most intelligent and curious mammals on this Earth.

  • I'd like to get more information on the people you used to do this. I've gone to your page but the related posts seem to be spam and I can't read the times article without joining times on line. do you suppose you could just post the info to my you tube page? Just a link would be fine

  • hey amazing video and experience. i have a question though. do your wetsuits make it so you dont have any pressure on your ears? my ears are unusually sensitive to that stuff, but i would love to dive with orcas one day.

  • @legitleyepic They are wearing dry suits because of the extreem cold water. Everyone gets the pressure in the ears. I did. When I took a scuba course they teach you how so easily clear your ears, pressure gone. I have been to 70 feet for a hour no problems. Do it. Life is short

  • I'm planning my trip to do this. What website did you go through?

  • I'M JEALOUS!!! WHAT AN AMAZING ADVENTURE!!! but living in s.fl we have better chance swimming w/dolphins.. which is AWESOME!! but orca's would just be the KING OF ALL DIVES!!! good for you!

  • Is it true that killer whales actually save people in the wild?

  • I have always wanted to swim with an orca, i want to work with them when i'm older aswel, and norway was the place i want to go to swim with them because i saw it online! what was it like? was it scary first getting in the water with them?x

  • Hey , Can I ask if you could point me in the right direction to make this happen as in who did u contact what were the costs and all please.

    Thanks

  • i read somewhere that orcas only eat what their parents teach them to eat.

  • are wild orcas harmless to humans?

  • could you touch them ??

  • its just amazing how big and strong they are and are not bothered by us swimming with them, we are so small and weak compared to them and they take as much intrest in us as we do them. Simply amazing :)

  • The chance that I'm NOT going to do this within 5 years is... None...

Can't get the thought on how lovely it must be to experience the size, powder and curiousness of these guys up close out of my head...

And I live in Norway! I guess that it makes the trip a little more convenient!

  • ya the movie was called free willy

  • Orcas are wonderfull!Great video

  • That boat would have got so f***ed up if I were there dude!

  • fin video og musikk ;)

  • Did you get to touch one?? I want to touch one so bad. I just found out about snorkelling with them and once I have the money, I so plan on doing it. Was it amazing? Please let me know about it.

  • great video, like many others this is one of my dreams !!

  • Someday i WILL do this!!

  • Orcas will not intentionally kill a human being for food. Its more like they know we arent food. Many of the killings are due to the fact that the whales can get overly playfull and can be a bit unpredictable at times. But Orcas dont have an appetite for humans. And since these whales only eat fish its quite obvious its only the fish they are interested in anyways!

  • That must've been breathtaking. Unbelievable. This has been my dream since I was a child :)

  • Beautiful scenery, beautiful music, and even more beautiful animals. How cold was that water? Either way, it looks like so much fun. I wish I could swim with whales. I'd probably fit in real well, with me being as fat as I am. *lol* They'd probably mistake me as one of them. Anyway, maybe I'll get to do this one day.

  • werent u afraid of the orcas killin you? =/

  • Were you nervous, cause well you know they are killler whales? sounds like fun that is my dream to be an orca trainer

  • wonderful ... how cold was it? and how thick was your wetsuit?

  • @AssiyehTabatabai

It was freezing & we had to wear loads of layers under a very bulky dry suit. I didn't feel the cold of the water at all

  • @marylunn Wow it must have been amazing. I love orcas, did you like find it a bit nerve racking at first, cause I 've always wanted to dive with these amazing animals but have felt too nervous to try. And did you like hear them click and make those amazing sounds that they make? I mean this is totally awesome you are really lucky to have had an experience like this.

  • @marylunn Also, do they allow cage diving with orcas, if you want to be safe?

  • @beautifulstar33 No need for cages, they are perfectly safe in the wild, The only accidents have been with captive orcas as they are out of their environment.

  • @marylunn Really? why not allow cages? Does a cage scare an orca away? that's not fair. I mean, what if you;'re with the orcas and a shark comes along or something?

  • @beautifulstar33 Orcas can feed on sharks from time to time do they not? I've seen videos of killer whales hunting Great Whites. I'm sure most species of sharks would stay the hell away from a pod.

  • how come they dont eat him?

  • How is it the seals are both the main prey of orcas and sharks yet it's only sharks whom "mistakenly" attack people. Are orcas vision just that good?

  • @surfersundance NVM I'm SO dumb. lol. Clearly I'm not awake yet. Echolocation. Got it.

  • @surfersundance not all orcas eat seals. their diet varies depending on the place they live! for example: norwegian orcas eat fish, other orcas eat pinguins, others seals, and the ones in the Mediterranean eat the tuna of the lines of the fishermen :)

  • Just do it, you won't regret it x

  • Oh my god :O Thats my biggest dream !!

    I am so jealous ! ;) ♥

  • Wow BEAUTIFUL :D

  • That's an awesome experience! I'd love to snorkel w/ orcas and swim w/ dolphins one day! Can you give me info on how to get started?

  • I went with Explore & can highly recommend them.

The Orcas are only there between November & mid January

  • to escaflowne: you respect the animal, most times the animal will respect you. Yes, granted, it's a wild animal. But usually you have to sign some form before being able to do this in case something were to happen.

  • How did you feel enjoying such a wonderful experience when they hunt and eat whales in Norway?

  • It's just nature, we eat animals too

  • @marylunn Its nature for them but not humans..When will meat eaters admit to eating meat to satiate your taste buds..nothing like nature at all.Humans dont need meat to survive ..we have advanced beyond the caves thousands of years ago. so anoyed with people ignorning the rights and wrongs.

  • @marylunn did u not fear them attacking you?

  • @penolva ok. what's that got to do with going snorkelling with wild free orcas? this is an action that is anti-captivity and should be encouraged so that people become aware of the danger orcas are in and so be more inclined to protect them. what are u talking about??? this guy didn't hunt and eat whales for all i know. so why in the world should he not enjoy such a wonderful experience?

  • This is so amazing...orca whales have always been my favorite animal...they are so beautiful. I hope I can experience such an amazing thing.

  • wow... amazing... they're the most beautiful animals in the world... i wish i could do the same :-)

  • This is the most beautyful animal on the earth...I love them

  • This absolutely gorgeous. :) I cannot think of any other serene place in the world. So peacful. :)

  • i read somewhere that a young boy fell into the sea somewhere, and a orca came up under him, put the boys foot in its mouth and pushed him, up to the surface, so basically the orca saved the noys life, and this was a wild orca who had never like had a human in the water before! and thats a true story! i would love to swim with them, they are like my fave animals

  • i know right like they are like my like fav animals too omgosh like so cool

  • This was so beautiful. Orcas are like the best type of whales!

  • Orcas are not whales; they are actually dolphins.

  • Thanx, but i had learned that when i googled orcas. But thanx anyway!

  • I didnt know it was safe to swim with wild orcas.....they say that they are very unsafe in the wild and even in captivity....

  • you are stupid. only one trainer has been attacked by an orca... the trainer was later found guilty of animal cruelty and thuis deserved it. there has NOT BEEN A SINGLOE DOCUMENTED case of an orca attacking a human in the wild. EVER.

Just because their nick named 'killer whales' doesnt mean their dangerous to us... the name is meant to imply they kill whales... they are dolphins who are whale killers. I wanna meet the dumbass tho that switched it to killer whale

  • there WASNT ever attacks on human in the free sea.. !!!

  • I think the whales in the tanks at Seaworld are stressed & thats what causes them to act out !

  • @escaflowne3

No you are wrong. Wild orcas BARELY attack orcas. Yes, they may seem dangerous but those are the ones that kept in captivity. Those orcas tend to attack only because they are stressed and are in captive all the time. They don't have enough space to roam around in a aquarium like in the ocean waters, just like what Tilikum did to Dawn Brancheau :(. This is why we need to treat animals with respect, they have feelings too you know.

  • you right man

  • That is amazing. it is one of my main dreams in life to swim with orcas in the wild

  • same here man. I dream to swim with orcas in the wild as well.

  • Amazing

  • Thanks Taikkah, it certainly was an honour to be so close to these magnificent creatures. I don't know if you read the article in the Times about our trip but it was a complete load of rubbish. None of us were scared at all, just excited. Norway is a beautiful country, the only disappointment was not seeing the Northern Lights. Still, that's a good excuse to go back.

Keep up your good work, I have subscribed to your videos. x

  • Swimming with cetaceans really changes your life, hopefully more people can do this in the wild to gain insight to a whale/dolphin's life in the wild apposed to captivity. You have some amazing footage here, this certainly had to be the highlight of your trip to Norway!!!
