after u have that, open game maker, then go to extensions, click install and find the d3d.gex then u all set! then jsut bring d3d over to left side of extensions

i have made a basic car shape and imported the model succesfully(copy code) and i a game woth 3rd person view and made the model my car, now i wanna turn my car when i press left or right arrow key i do not only wanna turn the view but also the car, can you help?

in the end step event select the "transform sprite" and put the angle to direction. In the left button event do a code like this:

direction += 2(or how ever you want to make it turn). and with righ do the same thing except with -=. Thats how u turn the car butI dont know how to do the view srry.

Blender is a better program, though it takes about a full day of tutorials and such to get good at it. But once you know how to use it and how to work around the odd interface it has it's pretty powerful.
