For me, it is nothing serious to hold a pet alligator, or handle a 15 foot snake, scorpions, etc. I have had unconventional pets, and things would not normally be tame...I still want a wolf :-). But, I understand the risk involved. The animal is not being hurt, and if it was, I would not support the actions at all.

We have a nice ten foot one that hangs around our dock and we don't mind because it never comes near the house, but hes huge.
