  • 2:55 skipping to his doom :)

  • 2:55 skipping to his doom :)

  • the king of the south performin your entrance song

  • ashanti's fuckin beautiful

  • a great small man beats a big retard.. it is al, any decent hw would destroy jones.. plain and simple, men like jerry quarry, ron lyle, george chuvalo, cleveland williams... would destroy jones. simply jones was not a hw.

  • i like buffer better than this announcer... he sounds annoying as shit

  • should have retired after tarver 1 fight! was never the same after this fight anyway! Hands down unbeatable in his prime! whipped out all opponents in front of him! definitely in my top 5 best p4p ever! No fighter will ever be like jones! his skills, power, SPEED, duck and dodge was like no other! This man had it all! no one could embarrass a man like he did! no one can knockout with his hands behind his back! Thats called SKILL! fighter of the decade says it all! The weight changing killed him!

  • @MrKiki809 apart from toney, ruiz who else did he beat

  • @kam999kam bernard hopkins/jeff lacy/pazzienza, a man that had been on the canvas prior to rj.

  • @kam999kam are you really gonna ask that question? i can name you a list of TOP contending fighters Roy beat! there wasn't bigger names cause Roy whipped them all out! Roy in his Prime was simply UNSTOPPABLE! and its very obvious! Tell me who beat roy jones in his prime? Tell me who captured all titles coming from middleweight? no one and that hasn't happened in over 100 years! not to mention how gifted he was in the ring. ALL of his LOSSES came from way passed his prime, except the DQ

  • What's the song title in Roy entrance ?

  • @LauraRomain86 Scarface- My Block

  • IMAGINE IF ROY WAS 10 YRS YOUNGER AND WEIGHED 147 HIM AND GAYWEATHER WAT A MATCH LOL

  • anyone know roy's entrance music?

  • Say what you say bout Roy Jones Jr weather you love him or hate him hes still known as one of the best fighters that ive ever seen especially one of the most exciting fighters. It did fucking suck seeing him loose consecutive fights but his true fans know that if he fought green in his prime he would of absolutley annihilated him.

  • Roy was obviously great, except for defense,i didnt like his defense, there wasnt much of it...

  • @onlyjoetee his defence WAS top notch. couldnt be touched. he just couldnt block as well as he moved

  • @AsianBaskero nah man,Roy Jones was great offensively, quick hands and feet, but defensively he wasnt illusive enough. When a kid walks in a gym,the first thing you start with is defense, even before he throws a punch he must first become illusive, unhittable.Thats why Mayweather is so great, defense first

  • @AsianBasker another thing about Roy was the chin, the chin was suspect, couldnt really take a punch.plus the Left hand down to his knee all the time, very bad idea..

  • @onlyjoetee have u even seen roy in his prime? couldnt be touched. his defence was all speed and reflexes.

  • @onlyjoetee muhammed ali left BOTH hands down and still had great defence. foyd meather leaves his left hand down. ALOT of boxers have there left hand down. its a way to lure them in and counter

  • @AsianBaskero Ali's hands were only down when he was out of range.Roys left hand was down all the time, thats how Glen johnson caught him.Floyd is the best defensive boxer probably ever!!Joy Jones defense was not good enough!

  • @onlyjoetee for the most part, ali dodge punches by leaning back and using head movement. and so did all the greats back in the day, including roy jones, whitaker, willi pep and more. roy in this case left his hands down more, but thats because his reflexes and speed and uncomparable in his prime. im guessing ur a floyd fan since you keep sucking his dick in every comment you make whether it belonged i the convo or not.

  • @AsianBaskero Mayweathers the most technically brilliant fighter i've ever seen ever!!you can say whatever dick rider whatever you like, its a fact!!i've never ever seen a fighter who does every single thing that well ever. He's the only guy i seen who can block a punch and hit you with the same hand all in one motion..

  • @onlyjoetee on defence, of course mayweather beats roy. but saying roy has crap defence when no one could touch him because of his headmovement and not blocking is bs. blocking isnt the only form of defence. id rather fight a guy who blocks like james toney then a guy like willie pep who u cant touch.

  • @onlyjoetee also if u didnt notice, mayweather often heaves his left hand down to lure the other guy in for a counter just like roy jones. he also starts his offence and moves forward with a left hook like roy too

  • @AsianBaskero but Floyd general defense is far far better than Roys by far.My 3 fav fighters of all time James Toney,Floyd Mayweather and Julio Cesar Chavez all really fantastice defense all 3 of em..

  • @onlyjoetee when floyd wins a round without throwing a punch. id say hes the best defensive boxer ever.

  • @AsianBaskero that doesnt mean shit man.people dont pay money to come watch you not throw punches!!

  • @onlyjoetee do u even know what this argument is about? defense! and in defense, not getting hit is EVERYTHING.

  • @AsianBaskero Floyds not just the best defensive boxer i've seen,he's the best boxer all round period!!i've never seen a fighter who does everything that well.Simple things he does that other fighters never do,like jab the belly, its very very effective,he's the only one who does it!!

  • @onlyjoetee are you retarded? thats a completly different arguement. were talking about how u think someone who CANNOT be touched by bobbing and weaving punches instead of blocking sucks at defense and if floyd is the best boxer youve ever seen then u havnt seen much. watch old boxers like sugar ray robinson, jack dempsey etc. these are some of the guys to made what boxing is today.

  • @AsianBaskero Jack Dempsey was a mauler, clumsy as hell, had NO skill or science whatsoever at all!!Ray Robinson was like a welterweight Mike Tyson, hard hitting, good attack.he was not as sophisticated as Floyd especially defensively.cannot be touched my ass!!Tarver touched him Johnson touched him,Green touched him!!shit

  • @onlyjoetee are u kidding? jack dempsey pretty much invented bobbing and weaving and sugar ray robinson is the best boxer is history

  • @AsianBaskero bobbing and weaving is for short guys!Dempsey just hit hard thats all,he had no skill, just a flat footed puncher.Robinson has the best record, doesnt make him the best boxer.Watch 5 Robinson fights and watch 5 Mayweather fights you will see that technically Floyd is the better boxer by far!!

  • @onlyjoetee slip, bobbing, and weaving is done by EVERY modern BOXER. even your boy floyd mayweather. jack dempsey moves forward by moving his upper body to slip, bob, and weave punches. if u ever analysed a dempsey fight, u would know that. back in the day, EVERYONE used head movement. MARCIANO, LOCCHE, PEP, ALI, everyone. in TECHNICALITY mayweather beats almost everyone. but if mayweather and sugar ray was in the same weight class, both in their prime, robinson would win, hands down.

  • @onlyjoetee bobbing and weaving is only done by short people is one of the MOST the DUMBEST comment someone could make about boxing. its basics and textbook. its as basic as keeping your hands up. you you even box?

  • @AsianBaskero The first principle of boxing is,if youre tall fight tall,if youre short fight low.Jack Dempsey was 6,1in,the WORST thing you would ever teach a 6'1in fighter is to bob and weave!!Bobing and weaving is effective for short fighters,Mike Tyson,Joe Frazier etc no fighter over 6ft tall bobs and weaves. If you actually knew anything about boxing, you would know this,If you dont believe me,ask any trainer!!

  • @onlyjoetee that depends on the matchup. if a 6'3 fighter fought against a 6'6 fighter, he'll weave. its not about being tall or not. its about the matchup size. also, it depends on the fighters style. all in all. you took a simple arguement into a useless one. someone who leaves his hands down doesnt mean he sucks at defense.

  • @AsianBaskero The shorter man bobs and weaves, its a technique for fighters who are generally the shorter man.You very very rarely find tall fighters doing that, what for?if your head is naturally above the other man,why would you bring it lower by bobing and weaving?the taller you are,the taller you make yourself, the smaller you are the smaller you make yourself, this is obvious!!If you can keep your hands down and still avoid getting hit, then more power to you!!most trainers would not advise it

  • @onlyjoetee yes it is obvious. and ty for agreeing. roy jones may keep his hands down but his reflexes and speed more then makes up for it. this type of non textbook differences is what makes fighters unique

  • @AsianBasker couldnt be touched my ass.....

  • go to episode 2 for the fight lol

  • To this day I still cannot believe the way that Ruiz just let the man pick and pop his way to the belt. The speed was too much from start to finish.

  • danny green wasnt close to a prim jones at all whoever said dat obviously dont kno shyt about boxing

  • Sad to see an ATG like Roy getting raped in the ring these days. It's time. Hang 'em up, champ.

  • ashanti...mmm

  • When roy won this he should have fought a couple fights @ heavy weight or jus retired, cuz ur body can take all of that puttin on weight n dropping it, the human body doesnt work like that naturally

  • on ROY'S BLOCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • This the illest job from Roy you heard!

  • Name of Roy Jone's Entrance please?

  • @MrKiki809 Scarface - My Block, He made a remix for Roy Jones as 2Pac Did for Mike Tyson for Ambitionz As A Ridah

  • @flawlessjamz281 good looks mann

  • @MrKiki809

    its scarface ''my block''

  • Roy was the best in P4P rank ;)

  • One of the most odd songs ive seen coming to the. billy joel goodnight saigon??

  • I AM SOO EXCITED EVEN THOUGH I KNOW WHO WINS

  • Ashanti huh

  • ashanti sucks lol

  • Green and Calzaghe are just old fighters beaters and Roy Jones is the best, f*** haters

  • anybody knows the track of roy jones ringwalk? thx

  • GREEN WHOPPED ROY BITCH JONES JUINOR OR IS IT BABY UM

  • this was the beginning of the end for Roy. he never should have stepped up to HW. he wasn't the same when he dropped back down to light heavy/crusierweight.

  • Roy Jones Jr. > Mayweather

  • @12InchesUnBuffed i love em both so i can't choose

  • man Ashanti look good here..

  • @xxliljpxx hell mutha fuckin yeah

  • "thats why you take a fight like this, you become a well known person, we all want that." Foreman speaks the truth

  • roy was a true champion, and one of the most entertaining fighters ever. he never made excuses, and never fought dirty.

  • @ch1No11 Dude the wraps were illegal, check the evidence.

  • give me title of track on roy's entrance please

  • @kop1ko haha yeh i've been looking for this ever since the fight!

  • @kop1ko scarface-my block

  • @727Superstar Thanx!

  • @kop1ko no problem

  • roy was the truth. he will go down as one of the greats!!

  • this part is a waste of time if you just wanna watch the fight go to part 2

  • Skipping to his demise..... 2:55

  • this fights not all that why didnt roy fight lennox lewis

  • @jjames11984 He challenged Lennox, but Lennox feared a rematch with Klitschko to much so he retired instead of rematching Vitali then fighting Roy. Not saying Roy would win, cus that may be just to much size difference.. Dont forget Roy started his career at about 153lbs (Jr middle weight).

  • Ay, would that have ben the hectickest of fites.

    almost distraught it neva happened.

A David and goliath match up at its finest.

2fiters who completely epitomise gr8ness in their respective

    w8classes.

Altho4 1as gr8as Roy, i personally wouldnt feel that size would be

    that gr8an obstacle4him2overcome.

As i prefer to say, 'if ur good enough, it dont matter if ur5ft tall&weigh 50kg, the question is are u good enough2get around that problem&altho most arent, some r.

    i think Roy mostlywas.

  • youre so dumb! Go check in wiki if you dont believe me! Roy also said it in interview! And why i dont know anything about boxing! I understand very well when somebody got his ass whooped way past his prime but in this case there is something wrong

  • Comment removed

  • Ruiz's entrance music was the most hilarious for a boxing match I've ever heard!

  • Why do you have do be Racist i agree with what you say Roy jones Jr would smashed Danny Green a couple of years earlier Roy jones Jr is one of the all time greats but lets get Real you Americans have got to get over the fact that Australia smashes America at Swimming at every Olympics.

  • @AFFTL We possess a weapon, that man in michael phelps.

  • wot year was this fight?

  • Roy Jones would be so much of a better fighter if he kept his hands up.

  • Roy shouldve stayed at heavyweight; the drop back down drained him of his speed and reflexes. But, the big money fights were back at light heavyweight not at heavyweight so......

  • does anyone know why rjj did not stay at heavyweight?

  • @fuxu123 He said he was only interested in a fight with Tyson when it was clear that wasn't gonna happen he vacated.

  • if you still a roy jones fan till the end regardless if he win or lose and can understand why he keeps fighting give me a thumbs up

  • @xxliljpxx I'm with you on that son... like no matter what.. ROY IS STILL THE NIGGA!!!!

  • @xxliljpxx cos he is the man. and its pathetic to diss roy now when he is over 40 like "he lost last 4 fights" ye really ? put roy in age of 28 to kick some 41 year old dudes ass?

  • @xxliljpxx I understand why he is fighting, but I do not understand why is he loosin

  • @donee1000 Hes 42 now. His legs arent as strong and quickfooted as he use to be. He still has hand speed but he doesnt have power like he use to. He might not train as hard as he use to. He might not have his confidance anymore as much (His last chance was vs Calzaghe and he took a whupping in that fight). Take your pic :(

  • kiizer,youre sooo right

  • can ya tell me why such a legend like roy jones, fuckn millionaire, 1of the best ever, ist still fightin with an age of 41 and killing his own reputation..its soo sad to see

  • neme song of roy? pls

  • @martinkucerock scarface-my block

  • @martinkucerock scarface-my block

  • look ere am british nd love seein th brit fighters do well. but lets face it joe calzaghe or aussie danny green for dat matter wud neva of had a hope in hell of beatin a prime roy jones, jones is th greatest of all time

  • jones der beste

  • Roy's incredible!

  • I think Roy Jones is legend!

He beat everyone in their prime! Toney in 1994, Hopkins in 1994, Griffin 1997

He was the best.....and now when he is 41 years old , he bacame slowly...

He is Unstopable from 1989 to 2004!

  • If Jones had retired after this fight, he may have been regarded as the best fighter in history.

  • @nthnmonkey

yeah, the best pound for pound ever, so sad he is still boxin

  • hey kiizer, do me a favor...before you post nonsense, make sure you thought it through. when roy came down from heavyweight, he was the same roy...omg, he had to lose 18 pounds in a period of 7 months to fight tarver the first time...7 months is sufficient for any athlete to lose 18 pounds. roy came into the ruiz fight at 193...next time before you post crap, seperate fact and fiction first.

  • @thedonkadafi I seen this comment and you are wrong. Jones was going to fight Corey Sanders but Sanders pulled out of the fight. Jones ended up fighting Tarver and he had to sweat 25 pounds of muscle. When you burn muscle it is very dangerous. You lose tons of fluid including fluid around the brain, you lose stamina, and you lose your legs. He should have taken atleast a yr off after the first Tarver fight to let his body heal but it doesn't take away that he ruled boxing for 14 to 15 yrs.

  • @thedonkadafi Everythin u say is very much true, but it was obvious he wasn't the same boxer, it was evident physically

  • Are you people serious when you say Green is Better than Jones? Jones was too old and too slow to kill that fuck, well all know that if Jones met Green 2 years earlier he would ve fucked em over. i mean Green couldent even beat Mundine and Mundine is no where near the level of Jones. Its just like when Larry Holmes beat Ali and when Mc Bride beat Tyson their were all past their primes, to the people who say Green is better Stfu and admit green is a lucky fuck.

  • @bmwstyles true bro same thing with that pussy cowardzaghe.

  • @dunlap15 What a sad little man you are with your childish obsession with a 38 year old man!

  • @bmwstyles great comment

  • @bmwstyles haha exactamundo

  • @bmwstyles I dont think you can call a 1st Round knock out lucky....But I do agree Roy was well past his prime and he should of retired after winning the Heavyweight belt or after losing 25 pounds of muscle to deafet Tarver the first meeting.

  • @SouthernSniper74 Agreed! If jones would have taken his time to lose the weight properly rather than rushing to fight tarver he would have never lost. Unfortunately, that knock out ruined roy....

  • @bmwstyles when holyfield beat tyson more like it

  • @bmwstyles the guy that cheated wore a cast, got stopped far too early roy would kill him any day a the week!

  • @bmwstyles ain't a RJJ fans but anyone saying Green > RJJ is a hater and delusional fatfuck.

  • Honestly Roy Jr would of crushed green like that Volance ate that Aussie if he was prime.

  • 2:55 Ruiz is skipping like a little girl.

  • jones would beat the shit out of calazhage in his prime. he would stop him in 2 rounds

  • @gudlukinguy What makes you think that? Calzaghe was knocked out by no one............whereas Roy Jones was battered by Glen johnson and Tarver..??

Roy Jones didnt knock out Hopkins or Toney....so i cant see that...all i can see it would have been a good fight...

Roy Jones said Calzaghe is a first rank hall of famer one of the best of his generation...Roy didnt fight him because he said "it was a 50/50 fight"" for not much money...i respect Roy...and he really rates joe Calzaghe...

  • @sukhvinderdhesi Roy Is 43

  • @727Superstar Calzaghe is old to...

  • @sukhvinderdhesi Calzaghe was a coward who never fought anybody.

  • @sukhvinderdhesi he's better than RJ and ima jones fan

  • what's the name of the song ruiz came out to?

  • that wouldve been great for jones to have had retired after this fight

  • roys the best but his fight sucked :( 2night

  • yeah joe calzaghe might of called out roy jones jr back in the days knowing he would say no becuase of the fact who was joe calzaghe back in the day to roy jones jr a no one looking to make it he had one title at super middleweight u think jones would go over to wales and fight calzaghe for the one world title when jones jr was on top of the boxing world with th elight heavyweight titles calzaghe = fake fraud coward and most importantly slapper

  • oi dont talk bollocks mate roy jones hand picks no bodys though nearly all his prime via hopkins and 2 others he avoided so meny good fighters if you cant see that joe was an exeption boxer just like roy was then you dont know boxing roy vs joe in there primes who knows who would have 1 but dont forget thay were both 37 plus when thay fort so it wernt like joe was in his prime when he made jones look very very avarage

  • @500bhpcossie

joe was 36 jones 39 when they fought.

and joe was still close to his prime.

i like joe , good fighter but if they fought 10 years before roy would murder him.

  • @500bhpcossie nobodies? Virgil Hill, Mike McCallum, Montell Griffin, Vinny Paz, Eric Lucas, Merqui Sosa, thomas Tate, John Ruiz, Clinton Woods, Tarver, Hopkins, and JAMES TONEY? He breezed through them all with the exception of Tarver later on. I'm no Jones fan boy. But he dominated his boxing for over a decade. He deserves the credit.

  • this was the last good heavyweight fight

  • you seem to have forgot Lewis vs Klitschko

  • idk they both were in 2003

  • Jimmy Lennon Jr. forgot to introduce Roy as a silver medalist in the 1988 Olympics.

  • john ruiz is whore

  • go john ruiz! :)

  • In his prime, Roy Jones Jr is top 3 without doubt

  • roy in his prime would murder anybody!!!!

  • The only fighter at super middle weight fighting an undefeated heavy weight fighter...

    Unbelievable!

  • Ruiz him and his flabby ass body

  • why was he allowed to fight @ 193lbs??

  • I still pumped b/c Roy came into the ring to my favorite rapper...Scarface.!!!

  • mundinez getin crap now n not as heavy as danny green greenz biger now n hevery in way in green wood knock him out now mundinez 2 scared to re fight green

  • Danny who? he's a fucking nobody. Everybody knows when Roy came down from Heavyweight he was never the same. RJJ has dominated the world of boxing for 2 decades and gaining 8 world titles in 4 different weight classes. What the fuck has Danny Green accomplished? beating an old and way past his prime fighter? Get over yourselves fucking aussies and their false sense of pride.

  • @kiizer i gotta say i agree with you 100%

  • totaly agree with you mate, roy jones was a ledgand and danny green has alot to prove, roy has nothing to prove

  • I agree, but nobody is in the same class as Calzaghe, whether Royed moved up and down weight or not, he never let himself have a bad fight, and proved himself to be the best.

  • @Dilupist1 yeah yeah, that's why he and bernard never moved up to light heavyweight untill roy past his prime.

  • wtf? I think roy is unreal, top 5 fighters of all-time. But he admitted later that he did opt out of the fight with Calzaghe earlier in his career. I think if they had of fought 5-6 years ago it would have been extremely close, around the time Joe fought Mitchell, but I still think Calzaghe would have won, just too determined not to lose and a iron-cast chin and freakish workrate, but hey, that's just my opinion, I love Roy.

  • @Dilupist1 joe got knocked down by 2 40 yrs old fighters (hop and roy) in the 1st round. Prime roy wouldn't let cal survive. Don't forgot how quick roy jones was in his prime(faster and stronger than joe).

Prime vs Prime Jones win hands down.

  • mate i'm not a hater, as i said i love roy, but calzaghe did have a great tactical boxing brain, he adjusts to every fight and adapts. IMO he would have just snatched it, yes, roy and b-hop put him down, as did byron mitchell - watch that fight, joe got up and destroyed him after that. Look, both prime it could go either way, joe hit alot harder before he fucked his hands, but if someone had a gun to my head i'd put my bet on joe, just my opinion dude. peace & respect

  • Yeah he opted out because he was the champ and Joe Cal wanted him to come to Wales. And he shouldn't have to, if you want to be the champ you should seek the champ.

  • Calzaghe was champ at the time! That's the point!

  • WRONG!!!!!!!!!!!! there initial fight was supposed to take place at middleweight in the early 90's Calzaghe didn't win his 1st meaningful title until the late 90's... 97 or 98 I believe and by that time Roy was already light heavy weight champ and he was still ranked much higher than Joe Cal in every rank system. He was pound for pound champ at the time so what r u talkin about?

  • Calzaghe never fought professionally at middleweight! Jones yes, 4 weight class champion. Calzaghe was wbo champ at the time and the fight was scheduled, jones pulled, he later admitted this when came together to fight later, his reason was he was too dangerous at the time. P4P or not, joe was the champ. Pisses me off when people think everyone has to go to the us for the biggest fights, it's no longer the mecca of boxing. When joe fought kessler 50 000+ tickets were sold! Peace

  • If he wanted to be recognised as the best he should have gone to the U.S and beat the best which happened to be roy jones jr number 1 in the p4p rankings and undisputed LHW champ for years! Calzaghe didnt want any of Roy!

  • exactly so true

  • @kiizer yea roy was the shit also checkout sergio martinez and yuriorkis gamboa

  • @kiizer AMEN BRO
