Dumb question, are pretty much all pro-rally cars AWD? I mean obviously a majority of them are, but how many RWD rally cars are commonly used? And FWD???

@Z28Dustin FWD? forget it.. If you want RWD you'd have to start in a 80's classic rally i believe. Some good RWD cars would be the Lancia Stratos HF, Ford Escort RS 1600, Toyota Celica, Opel Manta etc and a whole lot more. Good old group B rally :) Personally i'm a sucker for the Renault 5,

Look for videos called "Group b - pure sound" and you'll see some classics.

Great video, great driving, and great sport. Its too bad there are basically only 2 manufacturers left (not counting individual teams). I just wish suzuki would come back and FIA get brains back and reinstate 2.0 turbo 300 hp wrc cars.. not s2000.. just like IRC.

@187squaw nascar is endurance based racing, it doesn't even compare to rallying.  They're two totally ways of racing, that's is why rally drivers can never get into nascar and nascar drivers will never get into rallying.

It's too bad all the time on speed is taken up by NASCAR races, NASCAR qualifying, NASCAR practice, NASCAR press conferences, NASCAR highlights, NASCAR previews, NASCAR reviews, NASCAR post-race shows, NASCAR pre-race shows, NASCAR comercials, etc.

@Plisken1986 i completely agree with you, way too much NASCAR coverage on speed. and any coverage that rally does get, it's usually only like a 15 second blurb. I think its stupid that a bunch of so called "best drivers in the world" get paid more and get more coverage than these real drivers do. the level of talent in WRC is outstanding and all i can do is shake my head when i watch these videos because the extreme skill and precision that is displayed is unreal.

Granted, its probably difficult to keep your focus for that long and maintain a good race, but watching it is just sleep-inducing. I really wish American channels would show some quality driving like this sometimes.

Gave functie van Youtube inderdaad, ben er ook erg tevreden mee.

Ik film met een Sony HDR-FX1, kan het ook nog op 1080p uploaden (nu 720p), maar dan wordt het al snel erg zwaar/groot.

Andere WK wedstrijden weet ik nog niet, misschien Wales nog op het eind van het jaar.

Nee, geen First Sony meer nee ;) Wel een Sony, nl. een HDR-FX1.

En voor wat betreft de muziek, soms is het mooi om op muziek te kunnen monteren (zoals bij de trailer), maar het pure autogeluid blijft toch gaaf.
