This interviewer is extraordinarily clueless. At least Simon Green held his own against her stupid questions. I mean... What's a fella supposed to say when he's asked why Belgium doesn't know his music? Or how good he will be at his own show?
oh my god who is this person interviewing him. i bet she hasn't even listened to a single one of his tracks. i think she has a shit understanding of music
He's a real inspiration for producers, particularly of Hip Hop, Trip Hop and Downtempo. I didn't think the interviewer was so bad, she asked the questions and allowed him to answer. Were you expecting witty banter and profound discussion? I just enjoyed seeing and hearing the man behind the name.
I like seeing how different people handle awkward interviews...especially ones where you can tell the interviewer doesn't really get what the artist is all about. It almost starts to remind me of a conversation with my Grandma or something because at the end of the day most people don't spend their time backmasking flute samples over drum machine loops. Mr. Green handled this one like a champ though, with answers as smooth as his basslines.
he dealt with her in a really good way, he's not rude to her at all. i think if i was him there i would have probably found it hard to deal with her. he is also really down to earth and modest. he definitely seems like a really nice guy.
@kblake89 watch any interview on youtube, with any music artist, you'll see the exact same comments under each video.....'stupid interviewer!', or 'horrible questions'

She seems surprised that he's into jazz and hip hop.. she's obviously not heard a single Bonobo track.
