  • really great work. It inspires me to do more, try harder to improve my skill. I am a new potter and having fun and being frustrated all at the same time.

Keep putting your work up here.

  • @MarksPottery I fully understand the tension between having fun and the frustration... keep practicing :)

  • I learned this method from a southern Italian potter named Emmanual Rondinoni who visited my county in Connecticut in 1975

He used slurry to keep the join on the drying lower pot ready for the joining with the upper when he put the lower out in the sun . All the best , Guy

  • Pretty sporty! I like the sketch in the background on the chalk board to match the piece you just made. Cool idea.

  • Great job Gabe. Is this what you do in your spare time--make YouTube videos?

  • Well, I am sick of all the "how to" videos. So, i try and tape forms exactly how I make them in my studio and with the music that is on at the time. Just trying to get the feel of my studio. Thanks for the compliments! I will have more soon.
