Actucully, the PL is not the best anymore. The top teams in PL has been very weaken in this silly season. I mean if you compare the teams silly season to Juventus or Real Madrid, they are light years behind. im sorry but if real madrid faced english opposition they will still lose. i mean its not just about getting good players its about team chemistry and how well they work together. I mean we even beaten them in a friendly last season. I know friendlies dont count but the two teams gave it everythin and arsenal still won. I bet an english team will make it to the final of the next champions league. Juv and milan will fall further behind,both teams at least 95% of first team players r in their 30s.

Nedved already retired, Del Piero is still in great shape, Trezeguet will be sold to another club this year or the next one in the worst scenario, Buffon is a goalkeeper (the role that suffers from age less then any other, usually going up to 40 yo still in good shape).
Cannavaro and Zebina to me are the only 2 possible bad choices due to age. In 2 years 1 will retire and the other 1 be sold.

The only unfair things made were asking for favourable referees to be assigned to juventus matches and being rough and menacing to unfavourable ones. Both things the team already payed for with fees, retirement of title and penalisations, including being pushed to 2nd division with -9 points, that they won 10 matches b4 the end...

I am not a Juve fan but u even don't need to explain to others...All what happened was in favor of the loser team "inter" which couldn't do anything in Serie A without such a scandal. Milan was also penalized and they got the CL fairly one year afterwords without referee help. The question is why cannot Inter do much outside Italy even though it's been dominating serie A for 4 years?

What about Inter? If not for Guido Rossi (a former Manager in Inter FC administration) which was among the accusers, the team would have been penalized as well. I love how they play the role of the pure and nice guys while they acted EXACTLY like Juventus and Milan. They also had the biggest advantages from the scandal (what a surprise)...

U are wrong. Giovinco is 22. And Juve have many young players in starting 11. Like Marchisio, De Ceglie, etc. Sissoko, Chiellini and Diego are young as well (23 - 24). Rossi, Ariaudo, Esposito - they are 19, 20, and they already have played in Serie A.
