At about 3:37? As far as I'm aware he takes the plectrum and strums hard across all the strings past the top of the neck and on the headstock before they reach the machineheads. The sound depends on the guitar, amp and strings; it may sound like crap. When I do it I also use a delay to keep the sound going strong without fading away (the strings can't resonate so it does this quickly.)

I could be wrong but I think I saw him do it this way in another video and it certainly can produce the sound.

From what I heard, the old house where the Deftones recorded this album was haunted!

They'd wake up during the night and hear people walking around around and talking, but no one was ever there!

There was this lonely bathroom literally down stairs which had this colored glass window. Very fucking creepy! One of the best albums of all time!

Yeah There is some where Chino even does note notes for this song not quoite like the album because he dosen't extend the (re) in the lyric (more)In those vids but more like one solid high pitched more that sounds pretty good. I never seen anything in the time this song came out that showed me he could hit that high note but he can do pretty well when his voice is doing better. If anyone ask I'll point you towards good performances where Chino is doing better from old stuff to more recently.

It was a secret show, but even on their old site which had the White Pony graphics on it had pix of the event. I was also at the "Change" video shoot which was up in the Hollywood hills at some dudes house, Stef told me about the show going on the next day and i guess you could say i got hooked up. Best show ever!!!
