Secondly, AEDs are only for retard EMT-Bs who don't know how to recognize a shockable rhythm. Lastly, how would you know if the rhythm was shockable in the first place without taking a look at the monitor, and checking for a pulse.

@jakeclaus1 Actually anyone can use a AED, their fool proof. AED's are designed for idiots in mind, it won't shock a patient unless they need it, it tells you what to do. Its a good thing to get trained that way you have a idea of how to put it on a patient.
