i negate the fact that an s10 and sunfire suck gigantic monkey balls... hence. i am informing this "hick" to the correct vehicle on wich he should be spending his time. i realise that in the great old usa people spend way too much money on stupid garbage like cold air intakes. your intake box is located behind your headlight, in a jeep... how much "colder air" is an intake going to add? not enough to notice. cold airs are for diesel trucks, half tons and rice rockets... jeep is a lifestyle!
jeeps need snorkels, aggressive tread and no roof/doors all season long. frik. i live in alberta and drive it that way through -40C* and blowing snow. no cheap intake BS. please have some respect for the Vehicle you drive and the community in which it surrounds. if you want to rice up a vehicle, buy a sunfire or an S10.

if u wanna kill urself driving in -40 then by all means do it, and respect ur vehicle plz, keep all doors and tops on when it hits below 50, it stops the vehile from fucking up but its by area the way u fix up ur jeep
and if u think that a cold air intake is for ricers then talk to ripp motorsports about their jeep or pro comp or sky jacker or rugged ridge. i bet they would love that conversation, fuckin jack ass
@97WranglerGuy no ones negating the fact that jeeps r a timeless vehicle, but no one "NEEDS" to drill a hole into the body. a cold air intake is just fine. less that $300, and no body damage as ur prized snorkel does. and yes my i6 wrangler will out out perform any s10 or sunfire anyday.
@bari54 I agree totally. We just did a Spectre Performance cowl intake kit on our 2004 Rubicon for $200. In Texas during the summer months the temps reach 100 to110 degrees, maybe more. We had issues with detonation, rough idle and stalling out on the trail. After installing the fresh air intake the issues have not returned. I have a video posted on my channel of the install and testing. We tested it on the trail in 107 degree temps and the engine symptoms have not returned.
Why is is anybody putting a jeep in the same category as a fuckin s-10 or sunfire ? Lol

Im pretty sure they're not cheap. Jeeps are one of the best vehicles that never get old.
so about your sunfire and s10. my 4cyl jeep has way more power than those.
