You know, I don't know if normal or hardcore makes a difference in duals, but when I dual I try to disarm the opponent. what happens is that if he's able to be disarmed he gets disarmed right away, the first shot I place is on his arm near his hand or just his arm and Marston instantly pops it out of his hand. If he can't be disarmed the bar goes up a tiny bit and then I shoot his head as quick as possible so I don't lose. Not sure why my disarming is so much easier than in this vid, maybe a bug

I always go for the disarm, it's easy. I thought this tutorial would say something about making a disarm and hat-shot combi WITHOUT killing the opponent. I only succeeded in doing that once.

you can also hold the right stick down so he has faster access to his gun. also make sure you always tag him with the white crosshairs because those fill up the bar quicker

you can win any duel easy with the mauser because it has so many more shots than other pistols also every challenger has diferent skills so be on the look out for that

@Irockyou13 The crosshairs flash from red to white. Red crosshairs represent that you hit the guy but the shot isn't powerful and won't do as much damage than if the crosshair was white. This system is a carryover from Red Dead Revolver. The crosshairs did the same thing but they flashed from red to yellow. The key to duels is when and where you place shots. When: the crosshair is white and where: in a vital area like the head. you can place a white shot on a leg but the bar won't fill very much

@Left4Something I won't say that you can't but it's risky to do so. More shots fills the bar more. If the other guy shoots enough to make his bar higher then you're dead.

Any douche knows LT is left trigger for xbox & L2 is ps3. The tutorial was done perfect. I got it. Just one thing, why always go for the face? If u shoot the gun instead u get double the fame. 100 instead of 50. I go for the gun personally.

@Chi2Mia You can't disarm in mission duels. So I say go for the head to fill the bar more. This tutorial is only a guide. Shoot where you want, but if you want to fill your bar more then go for a vital area like the head or heart.
