  • Echte RUBBISH. I bought one yesterday and the remote does not work. No tactile feedback. I am returning it today.

  • mmmkey, but why is it so high priced? :O

  • i hate this

  • I want one now!!!

  • 9 WATT!:@

  • Vraagje, zit er op deze gadget ook een soort automatisch programma? dat je hem bijv. aan kunt zetten en dat ie dan vanzelf rustig van kleur veranderd zonder dat je de afstandbediening nodig hebt?

    Alvast bedankt.

  • this lamp rules!

  • This lamp is horribly designed. Looks like one of those early Apple creations - made into a sphere/an egg without any practical reason whatsoever. Apple, unlike Philips, have now understood that things should be simple, but not abstract from reality and their purpose.

Remote control is OK, I guess, haven't tried it yet.

  • I think it´s one of the best designed products of the decade!!! Simply wonderfulll!!!

  • 180 €

  • lol een echte philips :D heir kan mn vader die tv recorder wel katop schelden

  • does it light up the room if you have it in the middle of the room and not right next to a wall.. or does it have no effect then ?

  • Let's say it has little effect in the middle of a room. It's best used as a spotight, close to a white wall.

  • its ok I ve all ready bought it, i use to for lighting up the wall behind me when I play music live on the weekends, works really well!

  • microfoontje kopen.

  • how much does it cost ?

  • Ey, you know that you can change the COLORS TO A STEADY FLOW ? :-D

just press the ON BUTTON for some seconds & you'll see :-)

(didn't figure it out as i got the lamp...you should read the "how to use the lamp" book...but who whant's to read "how to use a lamp) XD

    peace

  • Nederland !

  • what language is this?...

  • Dutch..

  • noob

  • wait chinese! they will definately copy. 1 billion plus they cant come up with their own ideas

  • -.-" They are sold in China everywhere....by Philips-.-" I've just an question how long will the Led hold and how to change them?

  • you didnt get me. i meant chinese company will copy and sell the same item with their name on it regardless of it being sold in china or not. 2 months ago i saw a truck called FAW and it looks like mercedes actros and another look like scania.....

  • I love the Dutch. They make good electronic stuff, and really good beer. Go Philips and Heineken:D

  • i agree;D

  • they took over the company that manufacture these led staffs.colorkinetics. its simply american.

  • @karaokekongen how could you forget the cannabis..

  • @karaokekongen Yes, and the price is also very Dutch....€150. Are u kidding me? Yantouch has a better design and is cheaper !

  • @elizium1976: You keep amazing us back here. keep up the sun glasses, either cheap rip off or the best thing and you want it cheap, sounds dutch to me!

  • You know, it's acutally kinda amusing to read all these comments about Dutch people :D

I'm dutch, and Bouledoguefr, you're a damn retard.

PS: mangrob, leuk gedaan joh :)

  • I don't speak Dutch and I don't complain, I'm just always a bit happy if I notice that I can understand every few words because of a particular similarity ^^

  • That's horrible!!! How audacious can people be to expect that everyone's speaking English AND ONLY ENGLISH in a video???

Can you imagine there are DUTCH people who watch this DUTCH review because if there is a DUTCH one there'd be no need of talking ENGLISH!!!

By the way, I love the lamp, I have it for quite a while and (@ iglor) the LED-lamp is that bright because it's a combination of many LEDs and a special technology. Philips is great in any light-concerning things ;-)

  • Hello I have bought one of these lamps on ebay. as soon as connected to the current electrical worker it executes self the test, but then I do not succeed to ignite it from the remote control. it must make some operation particular in order to connect the remote control to the lamp? Some hidden key? Aid I hope is not out of order

  • i concur

  • Same problem here, the light itself seems functional, but the remote doesn't seem to control anything, no matter what (Yes, the batteries are in, and I've tried different ones.)Is there, indeed, some kind of initialization procedure the manual for whatever reason makes no refference to at all? Grrrr. I'd love to believe I'm a moron who can't figure out how to turn on a light by himself, but it really looks like I got a dud with this one. Hope my folks still got the receipt.

  • Super! bdankt!

  • nice :)

  • he said the lamp is using very few energy and thats typically philips.

and about ipod, he said that the remote looks like the style of apple, the back of it looks like the apple mouse

  • Thanks ;)

  • that's typically LEDs not using much nrg at all ^^ but this lamp looks brighter than any LED lamp i ever had

  • Géniale ! J'en ai pris deux.

    Merci Philips !

  • ca coute combien ?

  • Overpriced, but very cool and desireable.

  • it's pretty neat, but it costs about four times more than you'd expect from a gadget that simple. Leds are cheap, plastic is cheap, the remote can't cost much... it's just too expensive. You can make a livingcolors of your own with a 30$ budjet.

  • Deze heb ik vandaag besteld zie :)

  • lampe geniale mais hors de prix !!!! (149 €)

  • €149 :(

  • *Drools* I want one of those!!!!!!!!!
