i'm not sure if u get the same brand in canada but poly filler fot cracked walls ect will work great for the snow effect in the hoth scene give it a go it works great sanded down for concrete too!
I have those F-Toys speeders and they are awesome. From what I heard, Fine Molds had a hand in making them. If you haven't tried yet, and very careful...you can turn the rear harpoon gun left and right. Oh, yeah...a third set just came out. You can check 'em out on Hobby Link Japan.
Hey Scott, glad you're back. It's good to see you've got the new Snowspeeders, they appear to be far better scale and detail wise than the old ones. With regards to your basing layout, I was wondering if you had ever played the Star Wars "Battlefront" video games? The Hoth map on these games, although not perfect, gives a relatively accurate and practical layout which would appear to suit your base relatively well and may interest you, if you can apply it. Hope this helps :)
You probably already know this, but just in case... the snowspeeder with the grey markings is Luke's. I was skeptical at first until I rewatched the movie.
This is the best reality based show NOT on TV!
Seriously, this is fun to watch! (^_^)
Have I subbed this yet? I should now!

I really like it when I saw EP5, I was in primary school that time, the whole in my mind was where and how to get one.

@scaleModelAddict is a nice kit, today i saw the millenium falcon 1/144 in bigbadtoystore, made by fine molds

The plane-car thing is based on a design from Junk Tank Rock, which is cool.
Their models are often recast by scumbags and sold over the internet, which is not cool.

Could you estimate the actual scale,by measurinf a figure whic would fit in the cockpit,at a standard 6 feet?
For Sci Fi models,is there a standard scale? Many early model kits from the 50's and 60's were "box scale" - what ever fit in a standard box...
