I actually respectfully disagree, I think his form is very good. I've been playing for over 25 years and generally that form is encouraged. I forgot the term, but I'm referring to the "jumping" you're talking about.

have a look on the chords played in the beginning.the right hand moves too much. you can't say anything against it.otherwise, your piano teacher tought you other techniques.i had a russian teacher for 6 years and now a german both owning doctor's degree.cannot be that their both wrong.they`re always saying: keep your hand calm, only fingers are playing (and in some moving parts, use your wrists).

but i don't want to argue^^you do it the way you did it for 25 years and i do it my way;)
