I never got to meet the late Dr. Osamu Tezuka and upon learning of his passing in 1989 while at a comic shop in San Francisco saddened and angered me. In truth, his influence is the primary reason if I can create the circumstances to visit Japan and to educate myself on Japanese history, culture, language, custom etc. R.I.P. Dr. Osamu Tezuka.
seriously, im reading Buddha right now, im finishing the second volume, this man was amazing, and i think his works will live on for a long time. Thank you Dr. Odamu Tezuka.

I was in Japan for both Hirohito and his Death in 1989 and Tezuka was more cried for than that Imperial war criminal.
