@MsBirdMom - My bird George was 6 when we brought Wilbur home as a puppy. He's not afraid of him whatsoever and actually is the dominant member in their relationship. Thank you for your genuine concern, but they are very good friends, which is what the bird's body language indicates every time he lifts his foot to try to step up onto my dog.
The body language and the retreat under the chair is not a good time for the bird. They may put up with each other, but this could end badly one day.

It's not cute,it's dangerous and mean.
