  • In the Hebrew text of 2 Samuel 21.19, the word "brother" ('ach) is nowhere to be found; it indeed suggests that someone called Elhanan killed someone called Goliath. However, the Hebrew text of 1 Chronicles 20.5 includes both the name "Lahmi" and the word "brother." Hence, the discrepancy isn't to be blamed on the English translation, since it exists in the ancient manuscripts.

  • The bible is one why have that mistake then and so many versions say so diferent things one from the other.
