As a side note, the new law placed required on chicken transporting that stated they had to have room to stretch out their wings in the cages, essentially reducing the number of chickens per cage from 10-12 down to 2. Basically, you need 5-6 times as many trucks for each load.
This is one reason a large number of chicken farms (and their jobs) are moving out of state. Well done, government!

I see thbe irony and you are absolutely right...however people are thinking to eat eggs and chickens, but not humans, at least not yet...give them a decade or two. this was my train of thought:
each chicken will require more space
meaning that in a certain area less chickens
for an independent chicken farmer it means either
chickens now have to sell for a higher price
or they go out of business, not talking about remodeling the whole chicken facility.

I see thbe irony and you are absolutely right...however people are thinking to eat eggs and chickens, but not humans, at least not yet...give them a decade or two. The way things are going this could very well change. At the moment people see more humans as competition to their carton of eggs and that last rotisserie chicken.
