Hey, J - just had to come by here again, after what? Three or so years? Listening to and viewing this again moved me even more this time. What a glorious human she was - and I know you love and miss her, still, every day. My mom's 90 now and is still living with us. I am care taking her and working from home as a writer/researcher.

She's home with us...and I wouldn't have it any other way. Happy Mother's Day to your beautiful Nana, your mom, and your wife...and much love to you all. :)

im really upset after watching this and finding out she died... but at the same time i mhappy, im not gonna say im glad she died, thats horrid, but im glad she is free of her body and able to be with her family again and see her husband.... i know now , even tho i dont know her, that she is much happier where she is now than where she was. =p

What a beautiful memory you'll have of her forever. I love my life & all I have experienced--the good and the bad. Some was very bad but I learned from them. I miss those that have passed on but I too know that when I take my last breath--I will go home and they will be waiting for me with smiles on their faces and joyful for me to come home. This is a very touching, very moving... it's wonderful that you could have the relationship that you did with your grandmother. Most people don't tend to, and to see her express how much she valued the little, simple things in life and even towards the end she felt like a young girl... well, that was just incredible for me to experience.

....when my grandfather passed away some 8 years ago, I was told by my family that were with him when he passed that he was asking for me, as I was in another state. The morning after he passed, he actually appeared in my bedroom at the foot of my bed to say goodbye. I am confident our spirits live on. I love this video & I know this woman still lives on. Peace. Imagine taking that video, and hearing that she passed on less than 2 days later. I'm glad I didn't procrastinate.

Yidgy likes to think that after she made that video she was ready to go.

During that visit she told me how my grandfather had been there that morning, but was gone when she awoke.

Very poignant indeed... I emphathize, as we buried a loved one's ashes last week and I filmed the ceremony. I find that film very difficult to watch, as I do yours. Emotions are still too "raw," I guess: I will give it a couple of weeks and come back for another viewing.

Oh my God, I just saw the end, and I'm so so very sorry for your loss. Within the last 2 years, I have lost my Mom, and My Brother..9 months apart. What was a family of 4, was cut in half by Cancer.

All things considered, I was happy when I got the news though I cried and found it hard to catch my breath at the moment. She wasn't going to get young again, the only thing left on her agenda was death. I'm glad she still maintained much of her dignity at the time of her death. Thanks for the nice words.
