um, ca1v1n....I've never experieced that kind of interuption drving near electrical lines (and they run along nearly every road, including infront of my house).

ruralgrubby....this is insane. thankyou for posting your little trip into hell. I've heard of people having to replace their VCR's 12 times a year when they live near these wind turbines. And how about the stray voltage? The wind companies just say,' uh, that's hydro's problem now'.... we just help make the problem a lot worse!

@windactionontario thanks for your posting. Note it's a constant pointing fingers between Hydro One and the developer who is responsible for the hook up of these turbines. It should be noted also that when I stopped at one of the poles, I could distinctly hear a lot of vibration. My video unfortunately did not pick this noise up.

What are you smoking? Radio interference from power lines is hardly newsworthy. All power lines do this. The fact they connect to wind turbines is irrelevant. Do yourself a favor and stop promoting conspiracy theories.

@ca1v1n I live in rural Ontario so I am quite familiar with radio interference. However common, I had never heard interference like this.and clearly associated with the lines feeding the IWT's. People are being driven out of their homes because of wind turbines. Call it what you want but to suggest I am smoking something is a clear sign that you are a Big Wind representative, scared of the implications this will have on your industry

I agree that all power lines could have some interference, but I can drive all around other power lines listening to that station and still be able to hear it (with some places of small interference), but it is definitely a whole other story in the wind project lines... the interference is complete. And I have noticed the exact same thing near the other wind project near me.
