I sometimes see people striking the palms of their right hands just to mean "alright dude". Unfortunately they say something else... could you please reveal? TIA

  • @kontact666 What they are probably saying is 'High Five'. It is used as a greeting or as a way of bonding between friends. Normally used informally. The influence comes from The USA. It is not a new thing by any means.

  • You are a fantastic nature documentalist, MrDuncan! The peeks into the lives of the families of starlings and housemartins which nest under the roof of your house were quite something! The rest of the shots are quite exquisite, too. One can really see the heart you put in your work. And I admire you for your close relationship with nature and the sympathy for all beings.
