nobody dances or crowd surfs to green day shows anymore? i saw them in 94 and it was insane, the crowd was nuts! what happened to people over the past 5 years or so?
I hate how nobody appreciates old Green Day anymore..... All anybody likes is American Idiot and on. I love Kerplunk, Dookie, Insomniac, Nimrod, and Warning, but nobody seems to like those anymore =(

You know, a lot of fans around here say 'Green Day changed and are doing something more matured now. They care about the world and are letting out a message!'. But have you noticed that most of these fans really aren't doing anything at all? It's been 2 albums and no one's started a punk movement. Few people discuss about matters in videos yet they love to say we should stop arguing..
i was at this show, when they started playing the old songs, nobody knew them, its like they only knew from american idiot and on. i swear it was only me and my boyfriend singing along. the crowd only went crazy for the newer songs, and they played so many of their old songs, it was so awesome.
seriously, i'd be going nuts in the crowd. i hate it that i have never been able to see green day live, and these people who are having these shows handed to them just stand around holding up their cameras. whats the point anymore? European shows are so much more fun, i dont blame them for staying there in 2010.
why did they give tickets away for free??? True Green Day fans would have paid an absoloute fortune to see them play burnout, and the crowd... it might as well have been performed in an empty room because that's what the crowd resemble
The show was awesome but the crowd was just retarded. True Green Day fans would have been freaking out! People loved all the new s**t and went nuts for that. It's almost as if they don't know any of their older/best songs!
I've been listening to Green Day since I was about 9 MANY years ago and Burnout was always my favorite!
Dude, I totally get what you mean. Luckily I was able to get all the way up to the front and man I went nuts hearing Going To Pasalacqua!!! Such an AMAZING night!

Probably because these guys aren't punks. Every punk knows only a true punk rock concert with punk rock fans has fans jumping up and down and jumping on the crowd.
