  • @Puppylove1781 no, that's right

  • This is rarely performed anymore in America, and has been rendered an "Attic Piece," by many great pianist.

  • 6 people must be deaf.

  • finally, an accurate performance

  • This is actually easy.

  • Too bad I forgot how to play this...too bad I can't read music for my life ever .. >.<

  • My friend is EXTREMELY good at this piece, she can play it 10x normal speed. :)

  • @TheJesusfreak3300 Just being able to play it insanely fast isn't the only part of being able to play a piece. You have to infuse some emotion in there while you do it, which gets harder the faster you play. If she can do that, then that's freaking amazing. :D

  • I'm thirteen and i can play it

  • epicness...!

  • epicness...!

  • What software are you using?

  • i wonder if this piece is wrote into an orchestra

  • on second 37 there is a wrong note

it should be D but it plays c sharp

  • Comment removed

  • @chanlongching666 thats how i play it

  • @Puppylove1781 check your music score it should be c sharp

  • @Puppylove1781 oh, i was always taught that way.

  • im going to do this for my recital today but im not sure if i should play it this fast :S

  • @aidanFS its meant to be fast, you get most points for getting fast and correct and quite a few by getting it not as fast but still right

  • it is hard to play it exactly like this :)

  • the end differs from my version... how?

  • @Ongeschikt93 yeah i end with cedhc something like that

  • so many ppl on utube skip da last part

  • witch

  • There is a kid in my piano class who is learning to play this for our christmas recital and he tends to power through it without any real emotion.. drives me nuts. i just wanna bonk him on the head with something and then calmly explain about dynamics and emotion hehe :-)

  • It is really a cool program ,what is it ?

  • when you play this piece, you have to walk your fingers and be very steady, otherwise, it wont sound good

  • my dad made me do this song for my recital. and it hurts like crap when you practice this song nonstop for about 3 hours...i purposly broke my hand so i would get out of playing this song. haha

  • @AnnieDaCheerleader12 im with you, i have to memorize it for a high school audition

  • i can play thiss :)

  • this really helped me learn thanks

  • bach makes me think that he could get out of any life or death situation no matter how ridiculously dooming that may be.

  • Most people don't realize that this was actually made to be played with 1 hand.

  • VladtheImpaler31, how the heck do you play this with one hand? At twenty seconds in, it seems impossible, and at thirty seconds in, I start doubting Chuck Norris' ability to play this with his nose. I don't have a hand long enough to play the whole piano at the same time.

  • @musicman1326 It's easy, the left hand just plays additives, so you can leave the left hand out, just proper fingering and theory. Bach was considered the four fingered master, he invented fingering. This is just like playing arpeggios and scales, is all.

  • VladtheImpaler31, okay, I have no idea what additives are, and I don't know proper fingering and theory, so I don't know what you just said. Am I just supposed to not play the left hand part?

  • @musicman1326 Without the proper and fingering you cannot play the melody. Or the piece.

  • @musicman1326

Solfeggio is child's play, most pianists learn it in their 3rd year of lessons. If you want to hear something extremely professional, listen to "Rachmaninoff, Piano Concerto No. 3 - Mov 3 (1/2) - Martha Argerich"

Rachmaninov's concerto 3, IS extremely difficult, although it was simplified. However, it also all depends on your preferences. Some find Rachmaninov easy, while they find Chopin difficult.

  • @theCatsPajamas521 I agree with you on the C# part, it should be a D me thinketh

  • Click My Name to see it played real even faster than this! Good quality! This is not spam!

  • lol

  • This version has the best sound quality !

  • Wow, the best of the best I've ever heard of...................I am playing this and my hands were falling off and more Toccata by Scarletti hurts the most of all the music I've ever played...........Cannnnnnnnnnot play fast...........need help..................

  • hahaha i remember playing that song, but instead of having the c minor ending, I kept going to see how many rounds I could do.

I also remember my hands hurting after I did that

  • @DjAfterpeak i am trying so hard to play this song...but the fingering is getting me lol.

  • Solfeggietto, not solfeggio.

  • @Andytheminstrel actually it is solfeggio as well! i have vid of me playing it!

  • @Clam9011 It's a mini Solfeggio so it is supposed to be Solfeggietto. It was written in the style of an Italian singing excercise that bettered your sight-singing that was called a Solfeggio, but it was a mini version if you will. Just thought you might want to know :)

  • @Elemenopeeful Thanks and check out my version of it! :)

  • I USED to be able to play this...Then I began to compose music e.e

  • Very nice piano sampled software. Is it Quantum leap pianos?

  • my piano teacher asked me to play this just two days ago,,,, i better get to work!:):)

  • anybody knows where to find this piano piece?

  • At least most of all the notes are on the white keys.

  • No pedal......? xD

  • I've never seen an invisible man play so well before. Come to think about it, I've never seen an invisible man before

  • @jpdogUK noone has or ever will see an invisible man? get it? because he is invisible!

  • @immanuelrunningback yeah, i think that was what he meant..

  • @immanuelrunningback - at the risk of my irony going completely over your head again; that's not true! I saw an invisible man the over day. He was wearing a orange coat, and playing the saxophone

  • This gray piano is very beautiful.

  • best tempo on youtube

  • Man does this bring back memories of Treasure Mountain on the PC when I was a kid!

  • oh my god best comment ever :D

  • wow great sound

  • Excellent!!!!!!!!!

  • ya lo sake ya.. terrible facil...

  • Its the best at this tempo :). Too fast and it's mushy. I have trouble with the alternating parts though. :41 - :46 and the like.

  • Ambelievable!!!!!

    Fantastc!!!

    Excellent!!!!!!!!!

  • am doing this for AB grade 6 : ) its awesome when played properly.

  • Does anyone know if there are sheet music for this piece online??

  • i dunt know but i have the sheet music and if u want to find it its called solfeggietto in c minor

  • Thanks man I found something like it =)

  • @iluvsystemofadown i could scan it for you if you want.

    just send me a msj

  • It's alright Miguep I found the sheets I really appreciate you trying to help out though, thanks man! I learned the first page already hehe, taking it rather slow x.X.

  • this piece is not very hard. any intermediate pianist worth their weight should play this fairly well with no problem.

  • its so easy I can play it either hand alone!

  • it is 'so' easy as you say because it is just a load of arpeggios played musically and fast.

  • what the hell? that makes it easier...

  • Everyone seems to think this is an easy piece, I mean Im a guitarist and I can play it on piano but I always found it difficult, not because of the fingerings but because of the dynamics. With such a short song anyone can learn it by muscle memory and power through it but the only way its going to have true emotion or move anyone is if you play the dynamics just right which is really tricky in my opinion. (Im in grade I dont give a fuck)

  • @MetallicaBLS That's a good comment's I agree.

  • @MetallicaBLS Dynamics? Really? This was more than likely written for Clavier or Harpsichord. Even if it was specifically written for Pianoforte the "Dynamics" would have been Clavier style or "block" dynamics. Dynamics didn't take on huge importance until closer to Beethoven's time. If you are exaggerating the "dynamics" of this piece you are missing the (counter)point.

  • I cant help but think this would make a great techno if it only had a beat behind it

  • 0.10 to 0.15......

  • good piece this is

  • is this the whole piece? would i be able to play it with practice..? im around grade 7

  • Yeah, this is the whole piece.

  • yes this peice is actually really!! easy

its like 10 bars long as well it probably grade 3

  • I've been playing for less than two years and I'm playing this piece. I'm in grade 7 as well, so you may be able to play this if you practice a lot.

  • any one would be able to play this its quite possible, you just need to have very good fingerings and go slowly. what grade you are doesnt matter. dont rate your skill level taking on a piece far to hard for you can offer many chances to learn the hard way... very slow practice, writing out your own fingerings carefully and finding what works for you, just remeber to practive the scales for this piece. (the key its in, and its 2 relative keys)

  • thank you for your positive words! in my third yr of piano-loving! and it is good to hear logical words of wisdom. it brings tears to my eyes to be able to play the beauty that is out there. thanks again.

  • i'm also in grade 7 and i learned this piece in 3 days its really fun 2 play!

  • O.O

  • The vid made a little mistake at 0:37, even I didn't recognize it at first! Its ok... ^_^

no offense just a reminder ;)

PS--- I rated this 5 stars, very cool, even the inside of the piano is moving! Cool :D

  • It was a wrong note... should've played D instead of A flat...

  • Is it a flat?

  • AMAZING!!!

  • Thisis a very hard piece!

  • Not really. It's not THAT hard

  • yes it isnt THAT hard - especially when u notice the simple pattern being used, it becomes really easy. That, and how throughout the piece, then melody is in 16ths, making the rhythm easy as well.

  • It's easier than it looks.

  • @BrendanKennedy96 I agree, I played it in sixth grade, it was pretty easy (but still it's a fun piece to play to show off to non-piano players)

  • mmm, i think the tempo makes this beautiful piece somehow difficult. But Bpiav is right!

  • This is actually a really easy piece

  • completely agree.

used to be able to play most of it with just one hand

  • @twilightfan12397 if you have the right technique it is. because if u play it at that speed and dont have good technique its going to be a pain

  • this song is not as hard as it seems, it's quite easy (well i guess for most people)

  • last sunday i played this at a recital, it's really fun.

  • how can some1 EVER play this?!?!

  • it's an illusion, this song is easier than it looks. i was shocked when i first saw it, but it has a pattern that repeats throughout :)

  • love the bit about 40 seconds it is re\lly catchy!

  • I made a tutorial for this if anyone wants to learn it.

  • yeah...i can also...w/ a lot of mistakes

  • at 0:38 there is a mistake.

it is suppost to be a D and not a C#.

  • how could you possibly see that mistake?!

  • are you being sarcastic or real?

  • I'm been real, 'cuz this tune is so dang fast, or the only thing i can think of is if you know how to play this then u shud notice.

  • I do play this and I even made a tutorial for this.(well part 1. Part 2 will be out too)

I also made a video of me playing this but with a few mistakes (I was very sleepy when I made me playing video so it may not be the best, I will try to re-upload of me playing this when I'm not sleepy)

  • I love this!

  • Best one to listen to on Utube... The other versions are either too fast or too slow, or have mistakes...

  • agree

  • the ending is wrong and you did miss a note, but thats ok cuz the song is awesome. just finished learning it.

  • You missed a note. Normally I would excuse it, but this is a MIDI visualization.

  • the song is beautiful. thanks for posting it! luv it!

  • the piano is cute :) what did you use to make the midi and the keys move like that?

  • i get to play this song at recital, its my fav out of the two. i can't play it this fast but i'm close.
