Wow, people are still buying snake oil? Are the major hospitals firing the doctors and replacing them with people who paid money for this course? Yeah, right. And that argument about you have to try it yourself is illogical. Their are so many claims for all kinds of stuff, and we have to evaluate them all? Why this and why not EFT, for example? Sure, Jesus healed with touch. He also walked on water too. Are the graduates of this course walking on water or rising from the dead?
bueno i succesfully relieve chronic knee pain from a friend without even the instruction book, just from web info, Got the book lately which is only 15 dollar/euro. with just the basic book you seriously heal and help anyone you want...not expensive if you think of it ; )
no workshop is needed to get started....all you need is love
Wow I guess that I must be REALLY lucky to not end up being the low iq guy whos parents are desparate enough for this stuff and yes I am autistic.I read that 70% of autistic ppl have IQ below 70 is this true?
To maintain an organization to support the instructors, practitioners and keep the integrity of the work all costs money. We make it affordable, and people can really learn from the book which is free at libraries. Our love is free, but we pay rent and salaries for everything else.
I understand. Have since got hold of your book and reading it with interest. No offence meant it would just be bette world if this sort of knowledge was made free for all. Money makes the world go round right.
That's me on that video. Just so it's clear, I'm not a true believer in QT. That would be like "believing" in gravity... it's just not necessary. The technique works. If you do legitimate academic research, please, test it. I'd be happy to participate.
This is a natural ability that everyone can use. But there is alot that can impede it's use. So everyone who wants to study or understand it do your own research and experiment. PSychology of the person can nulify any power because each person can reject positive effects of medicines or any kind of power. (Chi,Ki, prana, etc...) Unless the mind will allow a change. any benefit will be limited or short lived. It's always best for people t o exhaust their will power it just gets in the way.
LET TEST IT. Please please please, anyone who claims they can cure AUTISM EMAIL ME. PLEASE. I can make arrangements at local centers for kids with special needs. Can we have the NAME OF THIS CENTER? I want to check out these claims.
They don't claim to cure anything. If somebody gives their testimony that something has helped them to do better in life, well that's good enough for me, short of finding out for myself. That's the only real way to verify anything. Find out for yourself. Watch Steven Lewis AIM program on youtube. The parents of the autistic kids put them on AIM, and now they say they're not autistic. Look it up. Trust your feelings.
@MAfanatic Hi, I just found this thread. Are you still setting QT people up with Autistic centers? If so, I would love to participate. I'm in Tucson, AZ.
It can be that you can heal people with this quantum touch, but you have no idea if the healer caused the healing or the person's own willpower is doing that. Because there have been reports of people healing themselves, While thinking a medicine or other person was healing hem. (placebo effect).
To a point that in fact might be true. One exception is when the person receiving the energy does not know that they are being worked on. And they heal faster, etc. And if it was placebo, why did they not simply placebo themselves well to begin with? These are good questions to pursue here. The placebo effect is questionable since everyone in a trial knows that they are doing something new and different. If they did not know they were receiving anything, then that would be interesting...
Spiritual Healing: Scientific Validation of A Healing Revolution (Healing Research, Volume 1) by Daniel J. Benor is a good read for the uninformed and for practitioners alike.

The power is from demons. That is obvious. There are only 2 sources of power. Either it is from God or Satan. This is surely satanic, demonic power. It is real, but you will pay a heavy price if you accept this type of healing.
OK I will bite. Are you serious or are you simply being tongue in cheek here? With Q-T, the proof is in the pudding: It works and can be measured so that we can figure out how to make it work better based on measurements. Saying that this is demonic cannot be argued simply because there is no way to falsify your assertion. What is your intent here? And how did you arrive at this conclusion?
Are you for real? Do you ever look at what you write and see how ridiculous it sounds?
How exactly is this "power" "obvious it's from demons? That's about as obvious as me calling you a demon.
Your name is hawaiilovers, your a demon because hawaii has volvanoes which represents fire which is evil, since you love it, therefore this must be you love evil?..I guess thats how you break things down.
Christ was healing people by touching them. Guess Christ was demonic too in your opinion, no? A sad way to think dear.
When you love, when you want to help, when you want to save a life, energy is coming to you from universe, from God. Try it fo yourself to see. Just get "in loving" mode instead of fear or hate mode ad you will experience it for yourself.
Since you are not smart enough to actually say anything you use stoner, retard, etc. Clever. I am finished with you. You are dismissed as irrelevant. Go to bed. Now. Or I will tell your mother.

context for change, modalit, dynamic balance, an exercise, much like the guy in this vid, in skewing perspective to try and give modern day voodoo credibility. Oh, goody.
But seriously folks, on to real issues here. Q-T is a marvelous way to create a context for change. We all know that no one cures or heals another. With any modality be it allopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, placebo, prayer, etc. it is the body doing the work in response to something introduced and/or returning to its dynamic balance. As Pasteur noted in his later years it is the internal environment and not the germs that strongly influences a person's health. Help others create health!
So you are saying helping others influences your health. Chiropractic, homeopathic and prayer have all been proven to not work. I wonder if Q-T can help cancer and Aids patients?
If it can then you really have something amazing and i will admit we should investigate it more.
Once again, that depends on who is doing the studies as chiropractic, prayer and homeopathy have all been proven to work. And I too wonder as I have done work with HIV positive people and have seen them improve but since I could not do a study, I cannot say for certain either way... But I am still working on the assumption that Q-T does influence people. The hope is that legit studies will be done.
Temper, temper sport. At your age you really have to be careful with your heart. Complex equivalent = long hair equals stoner, huh? And you should stay away from the neighbor's dog. People will talk. Have a nice day.
EVERY feasible external influence? Really? Thank you for clearing that up, sport. They are not ignorant, just thieves and liars. You are a real gem. What is your axe to grind with Q-T?
I really know thi works, but i have to coincide, that spirituality should not be sold, why do you charge so much to learn the skiil, and why is oginized like a corporation? i've never saw yogui ramarachacha doing this, nor blavatsky, and it maight be seen as a fraud even if it is not, and really i see photons, i know reiky and other techniques works but again i coincide with all the people guys... this is a knogledge if true for humanity and not corporations.
I used the Placebo in the original meaning, where by it can make a person feel better, even though it physically is impossible. (ie the WW2 field doctor who ran out of morphine and told soldiers he was injecting them with it, even though it was saline solution. He noted about 30% of people showed signs of pain reduction)
We know more about the effects of placebos than about any other drug simply because all drugs are tested against placebos. And more and more studies are showing that placebos, especially active placebos, are more effective in their short and medium term use than the actual drug, especially the so called anti-depressants. You can actually talk yourself in to feeling more and less pain without any placebo. Jack Schwarz comes to mind regarding pain attenuation.
I do not have much experience with Autism save my niece and it does not match my experience to say that candy or a back rub elicits the same class of responses as Q-T. The length, type, quality of your "attention" will produce different results without a doubt, though. Q-T is a lot like a light switch sometimes, meaning that belief is not needed to turn on a light and at other times Q-T acts like "faith healing"... Interesting, huh? There is more here than self-delusion, rest assured. Cheers!
I believe it was the studies done for Propecia that showed 60% of people using the actual drug re-grew 100 hairs per square inch and 40% using the placebo re-grew 100 hairs per square inch. Hope that helps. And all beliefs not tested and re-tested against proofs are vacuous, no argument there.
my auntie recently went on a course for this because of her persistent aching back and her MRI's revealed that her back was all wrong! i dont know if she's better now, but I know for sure that she healed my grandma's dog so he didnt need to go to an operation!
I will tread lightly here. No time for contention at the moment :-) If belief can trigger atypical states that promote physical changes, is not belief a good place to start? Maybe if we find out the state preparation of a Q-T'er THEN we can get independent researchers up and running. And who are these Q-T'ers that are lying with intent to defraud others? I know Richard, Jennifer, Alain, etc. and they are not thieves, con artists or self-deluded televangelists. And why the misquoted koan? Peace.
Beautiful text book definition. Prove them wrong. If people feel good and it is proven to them on a personal level then where is the harm? By the way; there are studies at univerisities on energy direction and "healing". Proving them wrong would prove your point would it not? Keep that hand going.:)
I would love to see simple real time feedback on a healing session with both parties hooked up and monitored. Interesting to see what the nervous systems, etc. are doing. There is plenty of corroboration in Q-T to merit further study of the model. The founders and core promoters of Q-T cannot be responsible for people making claims - whether they are true or not. Talking with Alain or Richard might clear up a lot of baseless accusing of lying, spam, stealing, etc.
There have been studies conducted like this. They have applied EEGs to the person performing the energy direction as well as the patient. There were definate changes in both and the "healer" has agreed to more testing at other institutions to see if the results can be copied on his part and any changes occur in the patient. By the way; we do not heal; the person heals themselves; we just boost them up to where they can. Thanks for your comment. It was wonderful
I meant correlation there and not corroboration. Silly me. As mentioned in Q-T book, Norm Shealy had Richard do a distant healing session with Richard in the room. I want to see another study done with a "healer" in another room or building. I can explain the test described in the Q-T book. Same as when we do when we train classes using altered states. The trainer goes into a state and then through the natural modeling we do, the class follows. It is easier to say healer and healed :-)
You are very bitter. People have always been persecuted for new ideas. Do you even know about why research starts, how it is conducted or the controls in place? It starts with something like this which gains attention whether good or bad and tries to prove or disprove. By the way; are you still one who believes the world is flat or do you just like to consider those people ignorant without proof?
An important aspect of QT, Reiki, and (insert favorite scam moniker here), is the willful suspension of disbelief. The same mindset we use to believe the story line of a movie is required to accept this hogwash. The sad part is, The boob tube has dumbed so many down that these parasites find victims easily.
I can understand your disdain. I am a skeptic as well but also deal in research. Many of the cures today were viewed the same and faced the same scorn. QT WANTS there to be scientific study. They WANT to be able to prove this. They want it to be with controls and all other requirements needed for science based study. I guess we are lucky that people decided to really check and see if the world was round so long ago or else closed minded persons would still have us belive it was flat.
I can see that happening right here! See the ardent discussion on how they will get that scientific study underway! Wait, I think they're too busy pumping each other up and making money teaching an unproven methodology that comes dangerously close to medical malpractice. Claim you make people feel good, and I'm up for the QT class. Say you heal and get ready for the pulitzer prize or jail time. Guess where my money is. Do you hear the sound of one hand clapping? Have a wonderful day!
Please explain how this adds to the progress of science. I recognize caveman profiteering "mentality" when I see it. Where is the search for the truth here. Or the so-called humor applied to the status quo party line? And while you are at it, please explain gravity for everyone - scientist and believer in woo-woo... Or show us how to use the placebo effect deliberately. Pretty please?
If 85% of all "medical treatments" are unnecessary then maybe it is time to investigate how to use our resources to speed up healing and to stay healthy in the first place. And yes, I too have read Cialdini's new book on persuasion that sites that aspirin effect. Context is very important in everything. My question is why has the placebo effect been so overlooked except as a way to denigrate everything but evidence based medicine? Experimental design is in need of updating based on facts...
Think about it, even science tells us we have yet to unlock 90% of our brains potential. It has been proven that the mind has amazing potential to do harm to ones body. So why cant the opposite be true? Some of the greatest minds in history, that have come up with amazing ideas we used today, were deemed lunatic and ideas blasphemous in their time. So with this knowledge still people cast the stone, and do not open their minds to the possibilities. I guess history does repeat itself.
To me, it is a serious crime to lie to people who are gullibe, desperate or sick. How can they do that ? How can they just take money being this immoral ?
All esoteric babblers and twaddlers shall go to hell.
Michael Shermer, editor of the Skeptic magazine, admits that science can't explain 5 to 10% of what's out there. Then he dismisses that as "residuum effect". If I, or anyone else failed at their job 5 to 10% of the time, they'd be fired.
I think it's wonderful and I have experienced it for myself. I feel sorry for those who are so close-minded they won't open themselves up to the possibility there may be more in life.
the power of suggestion can be a convincing thing indeed. this may have roots in actual healing practices, but a good salesman can really convince you that they're giving you something you need.
i don't quite think so. for one, the body can heal itself quite miraculously at times, that's what it was made to do. but you really haven't said anything, tell me more about this instance.
I saw the before and after X-rays. According to the boys allopath the cartilage could not grow back. When was the last time that you saw with your own eyes the seemingly impossible? I know that the body can do amazing things if we supply it with the right materials and for the most part get out of its way. One of the powerful things about Q-T is that the often completely ignored aspect of relationship is deliberately used in healing.
something impossible? my girlfriend is a smart, smokin hot, blonde nurse with an awesome personality who loves me, puts up with me and calls me on bullshit when i need it. how did i end up with her? i won the girlfriend lottery, i'm one of the lucky ones. you see? how many people who will "never have use of -insert body part here- again" prove the doctors wrong? it comes down to persistance and luck. i'm willin to bet this boy didn't just sit back and let it grow. but he got lucky also.
Very disturbing. The technological singularity rapidly approachs, and people in developed countries still believe in magic! Get educated people! pay attention in your fucking physics class! Stop substituting the word quantum for the word magic!
Arthur C. Clark wrote that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." What appears to you as magic is the result of bioenergy called Chi. In that you are ignorant about this field, you have chosen to feel arrogant, condescending and classify it as magic. Skepticism and curiosity might well be a healthier approach.
I am highly skeptical of the idea of quantum healing. Oh well, m.r.i. resolution is doubling every 12 months, even more advanced sensor technology is in the pipe. Particle physicists are increasing their knowledge of the sub atomic realm. The truth will be known sooner or later.
To the best of my knowledge, animals and preverbal children are not subject to the so-called placebo response. Also, why does no one mention active placebos being significantly more effective?
If some says that something works because of X and you disprove that it is X, the point is that the something still works regardless. Marketing will always be marketing.
Why does no one study the mechanism of the placebo?
So growing hair when you are bald by using a placebo is, um,.. feeling better? That is a big difference. And are you really thinking to shut people down with these replies? What about the effects of intention on DNA? Placebo? Distance healing? Placebo? Bones moving while being viewed by fluoroscopy? That is some placebo! Even though I do not have the exact patterning of placebos, I do use them intentionally in my work. Funny though how people use the word placebo to write off so much.Cheers!
The battle cry of the under informed is to try to come up with specious "explanations" designed to comfort them and drive away the obvious cracks in their bubbles... Why are you trying to obfuscate the facts here? The placebo is NOT strictly psychological. It creates PHYSICAL changes also. I thought that you new what placebos were. Do people really fall for your ideas? Sleight of Mouth is designed not to hide the truth but to expand one's ability to function well...
How about learning etiquette? That would demonstrate intelligence on your end. And why skip over the rest of my comment? And you seem to be stuck in the loop of being unaware that there is no Cartesian duality. Saying that something is psychological is akin to the old stand by that something is all in your head. Using your brain for a change might help here. Our body maps affect our functioning. And can be measured as physical changes in neurology. Read The Body Has A Mind Of Its Own.
Here is some intelligence: SOME hair loss CAN be stress related. NOT ALL. Are you trying to say that each and every bald person that grew hair from a placebo suffered psychological disorders? There were no other causes such as Alopecia Areata? That seems hard to swallow...
Why did you not comment on the non-stress related hair loss and subsequent re-growth? I did READ what you wrote and more importantly what you did not write. Why point out the less interesting and obvious rather than the point that would have opened up a discussion towards the unknown?
Well, if the hairloss had been stress related and then they are touched, a feeling better can result in hair regrowth.
You said this "The battle cry of the under informed is to try to come up with specious "explanations" designed to comfort them and drive away the obvious cracks in their bubbles..."
That clearly describes Quantum Touch! You have a bunch of crap that you glitter with the word quantum! Do you really think there is a quantum effect?
I agree with your point... If the hair loss had been stress related, touch can clearly prove useful. What about the cases where the hair loss was not stress related? That is the question that I have been driving at here. Quantum-Touch is a name of dubious quality IMHO save for a marketing vehicle.
i agree that people write off a lot as the placebo effect. mainly, when medicine wasn't needed in the first place. i'm not against medicine by any stretch, i feel the evolution of the human brain has given us the opportunity to heal ourselves and conciously affect our evolution. but that doesn't mean that all we do is just. we are an overmedicated people! and things like this prove not what they tout, but that the body is quite adept at healing itself when taken care of and paid attention to.
If I break a bone I am the first cat to head to an ER to remedy the situation. And am also the first to take, medically proven, ascorbic acid to speed wound healing. And as the educated know, we increase blood flow to any area that we pay attention to so I use that also to improve my situation. And for the pain I use the aura expander technique to balance my autonomic nervous system and cut the pain significantly. Science has a lot of catching up to do in terms of its ability to measure things.
if you break a bone, i feel it would be pretty difficult to NOT pay attention to the area! i don't know about the "aura expander" technique from any personal experience, but you are correct about how you can greatly reduce pain with mental power. i do it by thinking about the "pain" (the sensation and the word itself) and discarding all negativity associated therewith. i also agree with your grasp of balance between methods.
14 months after starting qt, I have been able to give energy to straighten a deformed spine, to help heal painful hands, migraine headaches, etc. . Most of them feel the energy even when I am not touching them. In fact, in most circumstances, people are intrigued because you can create a physical response without touching. I always say that "this is not supposed to happen." Then I go on to relieve whatever pain or stiffness they have. I myself was a sceptic, but not any more.
why are there people so many people watching this video if they don't believe it. You criticize those who are interested but why are you wasting your time. There are millions of other videos that are funny or on subject matter that your not close minded to an can learn from. go their watch those videos. And become more valuable to the human race. Scientific research proves that negitivity be it life or death or points of view don't help but actually does harm to those inolved.
simondavies, if the world of suggestion is as you claim, how does science explain it? Have you heard of legitimate doctors using hypnosis and other "powers of suggestion" to perform operations on people who are allergic to anesthesia?? How is this scientifically possible? Science is the study of that which it observes, what happens with categories that can't be observed? Correct - mere guesswork. Science isn't equipped to explain all things, only those which are observable.
Observing the results is science's largest undermining when it comes to assigning "proof". There are 2 sides to cause and effect. The effects are easy to misinterpret what actually caused them.
Even if placebo effect is only 30% effective, the question is, why does it work at all? Why do most hospitals have psychiatric units as opposed to only brain trauma units? How can you heal that which isn't physically broken?
Skeptics feel very comfortable criticizing from a distance, and it's a very easy and safe thing to do. I have taught many to use QT, and no skeptic has ever been able to maintain a hostile or critical attitude throughout an entire workshop. I am not aware of any other hands on approach that has gained acceptance from physicians, chiropractors, Physical therapists, acupuncturists, and a wide range of traditional health professionals.
These idiots are total losers! ARE YOU KIDDING ME??? VERY gullable people out in the world! A scary thing now isn't it? It should be called CON-time touch!!!
I have a certificate in quantum touch, having gone through the course in 2006. I have never achieved or witness instantaneous realignment of spine or broken bones, neither has my teacher.
and if by laying hands on someone tho' it's all bullsh!t *AND* they get still are healed by what you call placebo then as I see it all is well. In fact that makes the healing all the more magical if you ask me - that our brains have the power to accelerate our healing.. What you think mate?
well, i think that if our brains have the power to heal ourselves, then why pay these people to pretend to heal you?
It is true that this is all fiction. Also, reality is not subjective, just our perception of reality. Science is the best way to remove our subjectivity and find the truth.
particle, actually there is a lot of discussion in the community at the momnet about getting studies of that kind done - and I would say it is definitely on the cards - because practitioners know it to be real and sceptics know it to be unreal.
As an aside, what would happen if you experienced it and found it was real? Reality is a subjective experience after all.
How sad, taking advantage of people with autistic children. And how sad, that people don't bother to do a critical analysis of this nonsense.
Scientists are openly writing about this? I'm hard-pressed to find a single article in any peer-reviewed journal. Oh wait, there are a few, but they're all debunking this pseudo-science.
People want a miracle cure for autism, and are foregoing real methods of dealing with it, for this placebo-driven drivel.
It's called placebo effect, but in this case, it's working on the parents and not the patient. A randomized, double-blind study would clearly show that this nonsense does absolutely nothing. But that would be real medicine. We wouldn't want that...
No, pseudoscience is not necessarily fake, it is something called science that does not actually fit scientific requirements. It could still work, but it requires more proof.
Just because we don't know how to measure it yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. 100 years ago people would have laughed at the thought of someone sending rovers to Mars, or even further back running water in homes and electric lights would have been beyond belief.
Science is great. It brought us Thalidomide, Vioxx, SSRIs (all school shooters have been on these), Seroquel (causes diabetes in healthy persons), and an endless list of iatrogenic disease (disease acquired in hospitals) and millions killed by it. Science has brought us industrial pollution, the atom bomb, the destruction of rivers and mountains, the poisoning of the water, air and land, it's all so great!
I believe 100% in Quantum Touch. I had a right shoulder freeze and sufferred for 2 months. I went to a Chiropractor and there was no relief from pain. The chiropractor even suggested a surgery. Then i went to a Quantum Touch healer and he fixed my pain and sufferring in just 2 minutes. It is amazing. It never came back. Now want to re-align my nosal bone which was broken 24 years back when I was practicising Taekwondo. I am confidant they can fix this too.
Toronto eh? That sounds interesting. I am unable to calculate a % for my belief, however I know if I could it would be below 100. Something may be going on, but it may not fit the description QT provides, even if it is closest, right?
Offering another a higher vibration and universal love is not pathetic & does not harm! Physicists now write openly about healing energies, and about how matter behaves differently depending on whether or not it is observed. We can & do change matter by thought! Cells emit photons...we emit light! Allow for all possibilities in this work, and let yourself be amazed.
Haha, sorry to burst your bubble, but you are seriously ignorant about this subject. I actually studied Physics at Uni, and studied a lot about quantum theorem.
Wow, you are an idiot. Can't you see that there is nothing happening here. If you were to take people, seriously ill with terminal cancer, this would cure no one!
It has been proven in real double blinded tests that there is no more benefit to this than the Placebo effect.
Which does not cure people, but merely takes away the pain. Which as being as pain is created in the brain (an emotion mascarading as a sense), then it is not amazing, and placebos are not worth wasting time on
This comment has received too many negative votesshow
You so much resentment to textbooks. Which by the way (if you are American) can be full of crap. But once you get to a high level in education, the quality of the study is very high. People dedicate their lives to the pursuit of the truth, and the scientific method is the best way of finding it removing our bias, removing our mistakes, continually checking our assuptions.
Look at string theory, that is thinking outside the box.
Quantum touch is just, "hum, an effect, it must be quantum!"
I sure understand the skepticism. We are not claiming to be healers here. God, Universal Energy, The Creator, Spirit who goes by many names. Whatever your belief system calls The One, coupled with the client (receiver of energy) are the true healers. We who are doing the Quantum Touch (the practitioner) are just a conduit.. a tool by which Spirit has chosen to use to help deliver/entrain healing energy. God made us all that way so we can help each other.
What a bunch of horse manure. Obviously a infotainment video. As an autistic person, I resent that you are trying to use us to improve your networth through quackery. Anectdotes are not science, especially when your testomonials are paid. Pathetic.
You're obviously not familiar with subtle energies. Before pulling the quackery card, look a little bit more into it. Take a look at The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) for some very interesting information. Peace to you. Heal well.
Touch will not cause the mini columns in the brain to "heal", they will not cause extra neuron's in the brain to heal. Touch will not change the size of the amaglya. It will not change a duplicated chromosome to become a single chromosome. It's like saying, I can change a black person into a white person with touch or vice versa. Peace to you and hopefully you people will stop trying to exploit my people.
I understand where you're coming from. We'll just have to agree to disagree. You have your beliefs; I have mine. Prior to Quantum-Touch, I *knew* it was impossible for touch to reduce epilepsy. You can then imagine my surprise when a young client of mine went from up to 20 grand mal seizures per day to a couple petite mal seizures.
There's more to this stuff than we know. If you avail yourself to possibility, amazing things happen. Peace.
Well, that implies that there is something wrong with me that needs to be cured. I'm perfectly ok, have a good life, a wonderful wife and a wonderful autistic child. Bury your prejudices and learn acceptance for different neurologies. That will lead you to a higher plain.
I am fully accepting of any and all neurologies. Our paths of acceptance simply differ in how we choose to work with them. I fully respect your right and intention to disbelieve; in turn, I fully expect you to allow others to believe without making unfounded claims of paid testimonials and wanton exploitation. There can be no victim when somebody heals.
If you wish to carry on a dialog, I'm more than happy to; however, let's take it to private messaging so we don't spam the comments here.
If I may? I have several things that as I change them my life improves significantly. Whether I call them problems, contexts for change, issues or whatnot... When I change them pleasure increases, pain decreases, sleep is better, I get more done on all levels... A higher plane? You just cut someone down for doing what you just did.
What did you mean by intelligence Splan? Those that disagree are somehow not intelligent? This is exactly the type of bigotry my comments were pointing to. The quiet bigotry of ableism exhibited by this video to those with different neurologies.
While I'm new to Q-T, I'm not new to healing modalities, and I have been BLOWN AWAY by the things I've seen and experienced Q-T do in the past month! This is the modality I've dreamed about my entire life--Thank You, Richard & Friends!!!! --Barbara Haines (working on Practitioner & Instructor status as you read this....)
Believe me, once you've tried QT you'll never want anything else! Great video, not enough time to show how wonderful and simple this technique is. Everyone should do it! We should have a sticker on the back of every car: QT practitioners do it with a smile on their face and love in their heart'
good video, the most strongest energy work is using your heart, that can heal anything, the more love you send out, the more people will feel it. You can watch my video, its free reiki that I put in a video filled with my love whenever you need it.
I had severe back pain. After 50 visits to a top chiropractor the pain reduced by 50% but would not go away. 3 Quantum touch treatments reduced the pain to ZERO! This is something everybody can learn in minutes. I can highly recommend Mervyn Foster in the Cambridge area of the UK.
Really fabulous and reassuring when you have just had the first workshop. Thank you - QT constantly amazes not only me but also those whe receive the energy.
Excelent Video, thank you for shairing it with everyone. looking forward to the International Quantum Touch Conference next week....Keep Sweeping & Breathing - Your LOVE is Powerful...
Excellent! Get this out to the world! I use Quantum-touch and teach the Basic workshop. There are no such things as miracles anymore...anything is possible!
Great to see the word and the "energy" getting spread around. Thanks Richard and Dennis, good video, hope to see more of same in future... talk to Oprah!!
Yeah!Way to get some exposure. I just forwarded this to everyone I know.Thank you again Richard Gordon! You have made it so easy for people to heal and help others to heal themselves.I have learned a lot of different healing modalities in my life NOTHING compares to ease of this form of energy healing not to mention the success rate! LOVE, LOVE and more LOVE to everyone sharing these experiences.

aenewman78 1 year ago 2

To maintain an organization to support the instructors, practitioners and keep the integrity of the work all costs money. We make it affordable, and people can really learn from the book which is free at libraries. Our love is free, but we pay rent and salaries for everything else.

As well, there is the AIM program. People report their children with autism don't have it, anymore.

LET TEST IT. Please please please, anyone who claims they can cure AUTISM EMAIL ME. PLEASE. I can make arrangements at local centers for kids with special needs. Can we have the NAME OF THIS CENTER? I want to check out these claims.
MAfanatic 2 years ago 3
They don't claim to cure anything. If somebody gives their testimony that something has helped them to do better in life, well that's good enough for me, short of finding out for myself. That's the only real way to verify anything. Find out for yourself. Watch Steven Lewis AIM program on youtube. The parents of the autistic kids put them on AIM, and now they say they're not autistic. Look it up. Trust your feelings.
worryphree 2 years ago
@MAfanatic Hi, I just found this thread. Are you still setting QT people up with Autistic centers? If so, I would love to participate. I'm in Tucson, AZ.
marcyannwhite 1 year ago
Hi,
It can be that you can heal people with this quantum touch, but you have no idea if the healer caused the healing or the person's own willpower is doing that. Because there have been reports of people healing themselves, While thinking a medicine or other person was healing hem. (placebo effect).
extremefun1 3 years ago
To a point that in fact might be true. One exception is when the person receiving the energy does not know that they are being worked on. And they heal faster, etc. And if it was placebo, why did they not simply placebo themselves well to begin with? These are good questions to pursue here. The placebo effect is questionable since everyone in a trial knows that they are doing something new and different. If they did not know they were receiving anything, then that would be interesting...

The power is from demons. That is obvious. There are only 2 sources of power. Either it is from God or Satan. This is surely satanic, demonic power. It is real, but you will pay a heavy price if you accept this type of healing.
hawaiilovers 3 years ago
OK I will bite. Are you serious or are you simply being tongue in cheek here? With Q-T, the proof is in the pudding: It works and can be measured so that we can figure out how to make it work better based on measurements. Saying that this is demonic cannot be argued simply because there is no way to falsify your assertion. What is your intent here? And how did you arrive at this conclusion?
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Are you for real? Do you ever look at what you write and see how ridiculous it sounds?
How exactly is this "power" "obvious it's from demons? That's about as obvious as me calling you a demon.
Your name is hawaiilovers, your a demon because hawaii has volvanoes which represents fire which is evil, since you love it, therefore this must be you love evil?..I guess thats how you break things down.
911bun 3 years ago 9
@hawaiilovers

Deep insight except for the fact that you are lying...
zgs12212012 3 years ago
But seriously folks, on to real issues here. Q-T is a marvelous way to create a context for change. We all know that no one cures or heals another. With any modality be it allopathic, chiropractic, homeopathic, placebo, prayer, etc. it is the body doing the work in response to something introduced and/or returning to its dynamic balance. As Pasteur noted in his later years it is the internal environment and not the germs that strongly influences a person's health. Help others create health!
zgs12212012 3 years ago
So you are saying helping others influences your health. Chiropractic, homeopathic and prayer have all been proven to not work. I wonder if Q-T can help cancer and Aids patients?
If it can then you really have something amazing and i will admit we should investigate it more.
simonddavies 3 years ago
Once again, that depends on who is doing the studies as chiropractic, prayer and homeopathy have all been proven to work. And I too wonder as I have done work with HIV positive people and have seen them improve but since I could not do a study, I cannot say for certain either way... But I am still working on the assumption that Q-T does influence people. The hope is that legit studies will be done.

What strikes me as odd here is that we do not have enough "evidence" of what the placebo response "is" for so many folks here to invoke it...
zgs12212012 3 years ago
I used the Placebo in the original meaning, where by it can make a person feel better, even though it physically is impossible. (ie the WW2 field doctor who ran out of morphine and told soldiers he was injecting them with it, even though it was saline solution. He noted about 30% of people showed signs of pain reduction)
simonddavies 3 years ago
We know more about the effects of placebos than about any other drug simply because all drugs are tested against placebos. And more and more studies are showing that placebos, especially active placebos, are more effective in their short and medium term use than the actual drug, especially the so called anti-depressants. You can actually talk yourself in to feeling more and less pain without any placebo. Jack Schwarz comes to mind regarding pain attenuation.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Everything is quanta, regardless of being singular or plural.
Rubbing your hands together and focusing on the sensations and/or meditation automatically gives you infinite control over quanta.
That is it.

Cheers!
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Where is the evidence of this?
Please tell me of a published double blinded study in which they found the effects you state.
If there is nothing, then the belief in this is vacuous.
simonddavies 3 years ago
I believe it was the studies done for Propecia that showed 60% of people using the actual drug re-grew 100 hairs per square inch and 40% using the placebo re-grew 100 hairs per square inch. Hope that helps. And all beliefs not tested and re-tested against proofs are vacuous, no argument there.

mrpatty29 3 years ago
I will tread lightly here. No time for contention at the moment :-) If belief can trigger atypical states that promote physical changes, is not belief a good place to start? Maybe if we find out the state preparation of a Q-T'er THEN we can get independent researchers up and running. And who are these Q-T'ers that are lying with intent to defraud others? I know Richard, Jennifer, Alain, etc. and they are not thieves, con artists or self-deluded televangelists. And why the misquoted koan? Peace.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Beautiful text book definition. Prove them wrong. If people feel good and it is proven to them on a personal level then where is the harm? By the way; there are studies at univerisities on energy direction and "healing". Proving them wrong would prove your point would it not? Keep that hand going.:)
serenitypass 3 years ago
I would love to see simple real time feedback on a healing session with both parties hooked up and monitored. Interesting to see what the nervous systems, etc. are doing. There is plenty of corroboration in Q-T to merit further study of the model. The founders and core promoters of Q-T cannot be responsible for people making claims - whether they are true or not. Talking with Alain or Richard might clear up a lot of baseless accusing of lying, spam, stealing, etc.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
There have been studies conducted like this. They have applied EEGs to the person performing the energy direction as well as the patient. There were definate changes in both and the "healer" has agreed to more testing at other institutions to see if the results can be copied on his part and any changes occur in the patient. By the way; we do not heal; the person heals themselves; we just boost them up to where they can. Thanks for your comment. It was wonderful
serenitypass 3 years ago
I meant correlation there and not corroboration. Silly me. As mentioned in Q-T book, Norm Shealy had Richard do a distant healing session with Richard in the room. I want to see another study done with a "healer" in another room or building. I can explain the test described in the Q-T book. Same as when we do when we train classes using altered states. The trainer goes into a state and then through the natural modeling we do, the class follows. It is easier to say healer and healed :-)
zgs12212012 3 years ago
You are very bitter. People have always been persecuted for new ideas. Do you even know about why research starts, how it is conducted or the controls in place? It starts with something like this which gains attention whether good or bad and tries to prove or disprove. By the way; are you still one who believes the world is flat or do you just like to consider those people ignorant without proof?
serenitypass 3 years ago
An important aspect of QT, Reiki, and (insert favorite scam moniker here), is the willful suspension of disbelief. The same mindset we use to believe the story line of a movie is required to accept this hogwash. The sad part is, The boob tube has dumbed so many down that these parasites find victims easily.
ggalen 3 years ago
I can understand your disdain. I am a skeptic as well but also deal in research. Many of the cures today were viewed the same and faced the same scorn. QT WANTS there to be scientific study. They WANT to be able to prove this. They want it to be with controls and all other requirements needed for science based study. I guess we are lucky that people decided to really check and see if the world was round so long ago or else closed minded persons would still have us belive it was flat.
serenitypass 3 years ago
I can see that happening right here! See the ardent discussion on how they will get that scientific study underway! Wait, I think they're too busy pumping each other up and making money teaching an unproven methodology that comes dangerously close to medical malpractice. Claim you make people feel good, and I'm up for the QT class. Say you heal and get ready for the pulitzer prize or jail time. Guess where my money is. Do you hear the sound of one hand clapping? Have a wonderful day!
ggalen 3 years ago
Please explain how this adds to the progress of science. I recognize caveman profiteering "mentality" when I see it. Where is the search for the truth here. Or the so-called humor applied to the status quo party line? And while you are at it, please explain gravity for everyone - scientist and believer in woo-woo... Or show us how to use the placebo effect deliberately. Pretty please?
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Why are you so interested in the placebo effect? You want to use it as treatment?
There was a study showing that more expensive placebos have more effect. Try doing that! you will make more money for selling your fake treatments!
simonddavies 3 years ago

I saw the before and after X-rays. According to the boys allopath the cartilage could not grow back. When was the last time that you saw with your own eyes the seemingly impossible? One of the powerful things about Q-T is that the often completely ignored aspect of relationship is deliberately used in healing.

Very disturbing. The technological singularity rapidly approachs, and people in developed countries still believe in magic! Get educated people! pay attention in your fucking physics class! Stop substituting the word quantum for the word magic!
vinbuik 4 years ago
Arthur C. Clark wrote that "Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic." What appears to you as magic is the result of bioenergy called Chi. In that you are ignorant about this field, you have chosen to feel arrogant, condescending and classify it as magic. Skepticism and curiosity might well be a healthier approach.
magickisalive12 4 years ago
I am highly skeptical of the idea of quantum healing. Oh well, m.r.i. resolution is doubling every 12 months, even more advanced sensor technology is in the pipe. Particle physicists are increasing their knowledge of the sub atomic realm. The truth will be known sooner or later.
vinbuik 4 years ago
To the best of my knowledge, animals and preverbal children are not subject to the so-called placebo response. Also, why does no one mention active placebos being significantly more effective?
If some says that something works because of X and you disprove that it is X, the point is that the something still works regardless. Marketing will always be marketing.
Why does no one study the mechanism of the placebo?
All of the best,
SMH
zgs12212012 4 years ago 2
They have done.
But it doesn't make you better, it makes u feel better.
Big difference.
Placebo effect works on about 30% of people. It is very powerful. read about the origin of it and the first doctor who discovered it.
simonddavies 3 years ago
So growing hair when you are bald by using a placebo is, um,.. feeling better? That is a big difference. And are you really thinking to shut people down with these replies? What about the effects of intention on DNA? Placebo? Distance healing? Placebo? Bones moving while being viewed by fluoroscopy? That is some placebo! Even though I do not have the exact patterning of placebos, I do use them intentionally in my work. Funny though how people use the word placebo to write off so much.Cheers!
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Hair loss can be stress related, which is psychological.
Placebo effect being psychological is easy to understand how it would happen.
Use some intelligence!
simonddavies 3 years ago
The battle cry of the under informed is to try to come up with specious "explanations" designed to comfort them and drive away the obvious cracks in their bubbles... Why are you trying to obfuscate the facts here? The placebo is NOT strictly psychological. It creates PHYSICAL changes also. I thought that you new what placebos were. Do people really fall for your ideas? Sleight of Mouth is designed not to hide the truth but to expand one's ability to function well...
zgs12212012 3 years ago
How about learning etiquette? That would demonstrate intelligence on your end. And why skip over the rest of my comment? And you seem to be stuck in the loop of being unaware that there is no Cartesian duality. Saying that something is psychological is akin to the old stand by that something is all in your head. Using your brain for a change might help here. Our body maps affect our functioning. And can be measured as physical changes in neurology. Read The Body Has A Mind Of Its Own.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Here is some intelligence: SOME hair loss CAN be stress related. NOT ALL. Are you trying to say that each and every bald person that grew hair from a placebo suffered psychological disorders? There were no other causes such as Alopecia Areata? That seems hard to swallow...
zgs12212012 3 years ago
I said stress CAN cause hairloss. Not all!
READ what I wrote!
The rest of your argument is wrong because it's based on something I did not say (straw-man fallacy)
simonddavies 3 years ago
Why did you not comment on the non-stress related hair loss and subsequent re-growth? I did READ what you wrote and more importantly what you did not write. Why point out the less interesting and obvious rather than the point that would have opened up a discussion towards the unknown?
zgs12212012 3 years ago
Well, if the hairloss had been stress related and then they are touched, a feeling better can result in hair regrowth.
You said this "The battle cry of the under informed is to try to come up with specious "explanations" designed to comfort them and drive away the obvious cracks in their bubbles..."
That clearly describes Quantum Touch! You have a bunch of crap that you glitter with the word quantum! Do you really think there is a quantum effect?
Tell me how u think it works!
simonddavies 3 years ago
I agree with your point... If the hair loss had been stress related, touch can clearly prove useful. What about the cases where the hair loss was not stress related? That is the question that I have been driving at here. Quantum-Touch is a name of dubious quality IMHO save for a marketing vehicle.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
i agree that people write off a lot as the placebo effect. mainly, when medicine wasn't needed in the first place. i'm not against medicine by any stretch, i feel the evolution of the human brain has given us the opportunity to heal ourselves and conciously affect our evolution. but that doesn't mean that all we do is just. we are an overmedicated people! and things like this prove not what they tout, but that the body is quite adept at healing itself when taken care of and paid attention to.
tooleydeviljuice 3 years ago
If I break a bone I am the first cat to head to an ER to remedy the situation. And am also the first to take, medically proven, ascorbic acid to speed wound healing. And as the educated know, we increase blood flow to any area that we pay attention to so I use that also to improve my situation. And for the pain I use the aura expander technique to balance my autonomic nervous system and cut the pain significantly. Science has a lot of catching up to do in terms of its ability to measure things.
zgs12212012 3 years ago
if you break a bone, i feel it would be pretty difficult to NOT pay attention to the area! i don't know about the "aura expander" technique from any personal experience, but you are correct about how you can greatly reduce pain with mental power. i do it by thinking about the "pain" (the sensation and the word itself) and discarding all negativity associated therewith. i also agree with your grasp of balance between methods.
tooleydeviljuice 3 years ago
14 months after starting qt, I have been able to give energy to straighten a deformed spine, to help heal painful hands, migraine headaches, etc. . Most of them feel the energy even when I am not touching them. In fact, in most circumstances, people are intrigued because you can create a physical response without touching. I always say that "this is not supposed to happen." Then I go on to relieve whatever pain or stiffness they have. I myself was a sceptic, but not any more.

Welcome to the wonderful powerful world of suggestion.
In true, double blinded tests, these practices have no effect. blather all you like about skeptic, but this is all trash!
simonddavies 4 years ago
simondavies, if the world of suggestion is as you claim, how does science explain it? Have you heard of legitimate doctors using hypnosis and other "powers of suggestion" to perform operations on people who are allergic to anesthesia?? How is this scientifically possible? Science is the study of that which it observes, what happens with categories that can't be observed? Correct - mere guesswork. Science isn't equipped to explain all things, only those which are observable.
maximumgravity 4 years ago 4
Well, we can observe the results.
When this stuff is put into Double Blinded studies, it is shown to be around 30% effective, which is also the same figure for the placebo effect.
simonddavies 4 years ago
Observing the results is science's largest undermining when it comes to assigning "proof". There are 2 sides to cause and effect. The effects are easy to misinterpret what actually caused them.
Even if placebo effect is only 30% effective, the question is, why does it work at all? Why do most hospitals have psychiatric units as opposed to only brain trauma units? How can you heal that which isn't physically broken?
maximumgravity 4 years ago 4
Skeptics feel very comfortable criticizing from a distance, and it's a very easy and safe thing to do. I have taught many to use QT, and no skeptic has ever been able to maintain a hostile or critical attitude throughout an entire workshop. I am not aware of any other hands on approach that has gained acceptance from physicians, chiropractors, Physical therapists, acupuncturists, and a wide range of traditional health professionals.

and if by laying hands on someone tho' it's all bullsh!t *AND* they get still are healed by what you call placebo then as I see it all is well. In fact that makes the healing all the more magical if you ask me - that our brains have the power to accelerate our healing.. What you think mate?
alittlerock 4 years ago
well, i think that if our brains have the power to heal ourselves, then why pay these people to pretend to heal you?
It is true that this is all fiction. Also, reality is not subjective, just our perception of reality. Science is the best way to remove our subjectivity and find the truth.
simonddavies 4 years ago
particle, actually there is a lot of discussion in the community at the momnet about getting studies of that kind done - and I would say it is definitely on the cards - because practitioners know it to be real and sceptics know it to be unreal.
As an aside, what would happen if you experienced it and found it was real? Reality is a subjective experience after all.
alittlerock 4 years ago
How sad, taking advantage of people with autistic children. And how sad, that people don't bother to do a critical analysis of this nonsense.
Scientists are openly writing about this? I'm hard-pressed to find a single article in any peer-reviewed journal. Oh wait, there are a few, but they're all debunking this pseudo-science.
People want a miracle cure for autism, and are foregoing real methods of dealing with it, for this placebo-driven drivel.
particle409 4 years ago
you're entitled to ya own opinion!
but the next time you have it - why not actually try it to experience the fakeness - then you'll know for sure - or be converted /confused ;-)
alittlerock 4 years ago
It's called placebo effect, but in this case, it's working on the parents and not the patient. A randomized, double-blind study would clearly show that this nonsense does absolutely nothing. But that would be real medicine. We wouldn't want that...
particle409 4 years ago
quantum healing is pseudo science.
pseudoscience is fake stuff, made up.
MsWiener 4 years ago
No, pseudoscience is not necessarily fake, it is something called science that does not actually fit scientific requirements. It could still work, but it requires more proof.
tyciol 3 years ago
Yes, it is all fake. Pseudoscience is pseudoscience.
You stick to science, or you don't.
Listendudeok 3 years ago
Just because we don't know how to measure it yet doesn't mean it doesn't exist. 100 years ago people would have laughed at the thought of someone sending rovers to Mars, or even further back running water in homes and electric lights would have been beyond belief.
SLeimbach 3 years ago
Well to me, in such alternatice medicine methods only the placebo effect exists.
Placebo is not enough to call it a healing method, don't you think ?
I know from personal experience it is nothing.
Just want to state another point of view, amongst all those enlightened and seemingly happy people, which is as valuable as yours.
Listendudeok 3 years ago

Great collaborative piece on QT!!!

WTF are you talking about, close your mouth because u are dribbling BS all over the place!
To try to link quantum physics to this is ridiculous, you clearly do not know much about science, please object if i am mistaken.

There!! You got enuogh objections dear, that your message wont be shown anymore :D
guploo 3 years ago
LOL, because the truth is based on consensus?!
Haha, sorry to burst your bubble, but you are seriously ignorant about this subject. I actually studied Physics at Uni, and studied a lot about quantum theorem.
I guess you are blissfull in your ignorance!
simonddavies 3 years ago
You proved my point.
Thinking text books give you true knowledge and insight is absolute igonrance.
This is what your greatest physicist of all times said..
"Until man duplicates a blade of grass, nature can laugh at his so-called scientific knowledge.-A.Einstein
Same goes for physics and pretty much every other subject out there. Learn to think outside of the box.
Read Bruce Lipton's work on biology, to see how most everything of what is taught in schools is wrong!
:D
guploo 3 years ago
Wow, you are an idiot. Can't you see that there is nothing happening here. If you were to take people, seriously ill with terminal cancer, this would cure no one!
It has been proven in real double blinded tests that there is no more benefit to this than the Placebo effect.
Which does not cure people, but merely takes away the pain. Which as being as pain is created in the brain (an emotion mascarading as a sense), then it is not amazing, and placebos are not worth wasting time on

Quantum touch is just, "hum, an effect, it must be quantum!"
simonddavies 3 years ago
I don not believe this at all. This is pathetic.don't play with peoples feelings.!!!!
N0STALJl 4 years ago

Pathetic.
christschool 4 years ago
You're obviously not familiar with subtle energies. Before pulling the quackery card, look a little bit more into it. Take a look at The International Society for the Study of Subtle Energies and Energy Medicine (ISSSEEM) for some very interesting information. Peace to you. Heal well.
trane608 4 years ago
Touch will not cause the mini columns in the brain to "heal", they will not cause extra neuron's in the brain to heal. Touch will not change the size of the amaglya. It will not change a duplicated chromosome to become a single chromosome. It's like saying, I can change a black person into a white person with touch or vice versa. Peace to you and hopefully you people will stop trying to exploit my people.
christschool 4 years ago
I understand where you're coming from. We'll just have to agree to disagree. You have your beliefs; I have mine. Prior to Quantum-Touch, I *knew* it was impossible for touch to reduce epilepsy. You can then imagine my surprise when a young client of mine went from up to 20 grand mal seizures per day to a couple petite mal seizures.
There's more to this stuff than we know. If you avail yourself to possibility, amazing things happen. Peace.
trane608 4 years ago 2
Well, that implies that there is something wrong with me that needs to be cured. I'm perfectly ok, have a good life, a wonderful wife and a wonderful autistic child. Bury your prejudices and learn acceptance for different neurologies. That will lead you to a higher plain.
christschool 4 years ago
I am fully accepting of any and all neurologies. Our paths of acceptance simply differ in how we choose to work with them. I fully respect your right and intention to disbelieve; in turn, I fully expect you to allow others to believe without making unfounded claims of paid testimonials and wanton exploitation. There can be no victim when somebody heals.
If you wish to carry on a dialog, I'm more than happy to; however, let's take it to private messaging so we don't spam the comments here.
trane608 4 years ago
If I may? I have several things that as I change them my life improves significantly. Whether I call them problems, contexts for change, issues or whatnot... When I change them pleasure increases, pain decreases, sleep is better, I get more done on all levels... A higher plane? You just cut someone down for doing what you just did.

It takes a person with a lot of love and understanding (and intelligence) to see beyond what others can only see with their eyes. Thanks for this!
splanfan123 4 years ago 2

Thank you again for making the physical/spiritual realm approachable and simplistic!
I was impressed with your insights on vibrations and frequencies.
I would rather "keep breathing" than drink 8 ounces of water 8x a day. I am working on both!
