  • I love the Dulcimer. I got one for a gift

years ago and plan on learning to play it some day. Thank you for my first

    lesson.

  • Cant wait till my Yocky electric gets here for this song. Dear Lord ...playing cold frosty morning using overdrive will rock the walls off my place.

  • What does a good quality Yocky cost these days?

  • this is one of my absolute favorites:)

  • Yea, Cold Frosty Morning is one of the great fiddle tunes, glad you enjoyed!

  • Is that a Yocky dulcimer? I have one of a VERY similiar design an i find that design very sturdy and well balanced for lap playing.

None the less, im enjoying the eye candy and hope to own a Yocky one day when cash flow is happier.~Ky

  • Yes, that ones a yocky, I have really been happy with it, produces a very nice tone, and feels good to play. Thanks for watching!

P.S Yocky would defiantly be worth the money if possible.

  • I learned it! can't wait 'till the next tune; see ya next time!

  • Great to see that you learned it! Thanks for watching!

  • lovely tune; please slow down though- slower than you're slow part teaching someone is not showing how fast the tune is - it's consideration that the students have no idea of how this tune is to be played and maybe never heard of the tune before... keep up the good work; thanks!

  • Thank you for all the advice, and for watching! I hope to have improvements in my videos to come. Thanks once again!

  • The soft finishing notes at the end are very nice.

Though the speed of this scares me, I hope to give it a try!

  • Glad you liked it. Hope you get it down!

  • That was beautiful! Your dulcimer is gorgeous, wonderful song fast or slow. Will definitely give this a try!

  • Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it!

  • Yo! Hey, nice step forward! My two cents - show your face - you're a cool and gentle guy. Second cent - work slower through the tune and be aware of each step that you take through the song. You're doing a great job of explaining portions of the tune - be aware that there are all skill levels watching what you're doing. Be accessible! Aloha - and rock on!

  • Thanks for watching it! I found it a challenge trying to work through the song in under 10 minutes, but trying to keep it for all levels also. but I believe it is one of those things that will only get better with time and practice. Thanks for the suggestions and for checking it out!

  • Hey Young feller,

Great Job. I think I will do this with my original music. Thanks for posting.

  • Thank you a lot! I am glad that you enjoyed it. Thanks a lot for posting!

  • Your songs aren't quite "musical" yet, but you'll get there. Music doesn't always mean fast playing at your level.

  • Thank you for the insightful comment, I am working hard to make my songs more "musical". I hope you are able see a improvements in my videos to come.

  • How instructive and what a great idea to do this on a regular basis. What a commitment and a passion to promote the dulcimer and share pretty tunes! Thank you!

  • Thank you! I am a little nervous about teaching other people dulcimer, but I hope I am able to learn from the experience, and yall will be able to get a bit out of the videos I post. Thank you for the encouragement!
