just go to pspdlc.com you dont need cfw you could run it on ofw as long as it s singed you dont need chikhen homebrew or any of that mumbo jumbo just download the eboot.pbp make a folder in the game section place eboot.pbp presto no cfw needed :)

the read me file says I have to put the h.bin fine in the root of the memory stick and say (/) file? do I have to make a memorystick file or / file or what? because i don't have a memory stick file to put it in. or can I just put it anywhere?

@kujo2041 the root folder is the base folder of your SD card. Its the first window you will see if you double slick the memory stick. So you just want to open the drive and drop the file in that very first directory.

@OptimusOpus you could still potentially run emulators on your psp just not using this chickhen exploit. If you have a 1st or 2nd gen psp you could get a Pandora battery.

This is actualy my 5th PSP in 5 years, and it is the first to ever allow me to play homebrew and emulators and even ISO's with the Promithius ISO loader. Strangely enough though, I have no idea how to play PS1 games on this PSP. Nobody can give me any answers.

@ppescidavid 1. yes. note: you can not downgrade firmware. if you updated past 5.03 then you will need to find a different exploit. 2. yes. It loads a temporary custom firmware into the system ram that lets you run unsigned code be it emulators or any other sort of home brew. 3. yes if the system firmware is at or under 5.03.
