Look for the 1956 version of this story featuring Yul Brynner, Richard Basehart and a very young William Shatner as
Alyosha. Shatner is better in the role.

thanks for posting! I have the dvd of the soviet's version of Crime and Punishment (best there is) but I have not seen this one yet.
