not only are they huge but they look to be very fresh and in good condition unlike most pictures I've seen of ones that get that big. Like with a big fish, you should take a couple of those to a taxidermist and make trophies out of them.
I'm in mid/Northern Michigan and they're just starting to pop out here. Had a nice small batch of 'em with some venison steak last night. None were quite that size though, heh.

i hear the season there on the west coast is much broader.
I wish! Most where smaller, just not that big. It was at the end of the season, in cottonwoods and MANY blackberry brambles. Boy did I have to work to get to them! Obviously worth it!. Thanks for commenting!

It cost you an arm & a leg to stuff them, they're huge Crassipes. Ours, here in Michigan should be starting in a week or so! Great job!
