the storyline in underworld 2 was crap! i can't believe the william brothers got killed off so quickly! what a shit storyline! it would of been brilliant if they didn't get killed and made another sequel with them in it,that idiot len wiseman did a shit job compared 2 how brilliant this film is! it shows the difference how patrick is better at his work than len wiseman,i will buy this dvd when it comes out

If I understand correctly, the original Werewolves spread down from Williams rampage were trapped in Lupine form while their descendants learned to channel the transformations at will and thus came to be called the "Lycans". Nerd Rant!! Can't wait for this movie!!!

that's EXACTLY the theory i was thinking of...but the werewolves (ones directly transformed from william) look so different in underworld evolution than the presumed "william infected ones" in rise of the lycans....i guess we'll wait and see.

lol if you haven't noticed, the lycans change in each movie. They never stuck to how they looked in the first movie, they just keep making them look different in the movies that follow for some reason...

it doesn't matter whether Rhona looks like Kate or not.. this movie goes back.. before Selene was even born to a human mother and than later reborn to vampire..I really don't see why some wish that they would look more similar.. and they could use the same girl for Sonja as in first movie..but a girl with bright hair would not fit the character.. Sonja is not a gentle innocent..plus we got used to a strong, leading women character..or at least I did..Looking forward to see the new movie!

Sonja was played by an extra in the first movie, so the continuity is broken anyway.

Don't think they've ruled out a fourth movie taking place after evolutions, which Kate would be in, but she's not in this one.

At first I couldn't imagine anything better than Kate Beckinsale (Celine) and her husbund directing another chapter to the "Underworld" series of films. However, my attraction to the story line and Rhona Mitra has me now looking forward to this installment of the whole series of films. This could be just as good or better than the first two movies. But, there is a fourth in the works and it appears that Kate Beckinsale will be in it with her husbund directing again. I'm in !!
