  • how much dose that Press and die cost?

  • Anyone know where I can find someone to make a custom AR receiver lower and upper.I have a project I been wanting to do but don't have the tools for heavy work..

  • Would you mind telling me which one you have purchased on the website because there are different models. Thanks

  • did you heat treat whole thing or just around pin holes? im trying to find best way to heat treat......seanjon46@yahoo.com

  • Are you selling those pressed receivers?

  • why dont you tap down on the punch die, instead of up on the sheet metal receiver?

  • thank you sir, great video!

  • cant u buy a receiver already done i can see it being a hobby or some thing but it seems like more money spent to but the dies and the jig and what not

  • @TheGuncraze If you like filling out government paperwork and/or only want to build 1... And the Ak-builder flats once bent are better than any commercial receivers at the moment.

  • @ExportPilot

What kind and how thick of steel did you use? How did you heat treat the metal?

  • 10,000 Views.. Thanks YouTube!!

  • I like that jig. Do have to grease the flat like the old one?

  • @MrJimbishop I just spray the Jig down with LPS 2

  • do you sell your Receivers

  • ok, ok... thats it i am getting one of these jigs.

  • Fuck Tapco!

  • @OneQuickFour I agree Phuck Tapco!!! their flats are way off..

  • I want to make a cali legal ak

Would I have to take the flat to an ffl before i bend it?

or after or how does that work?

Sorry if that sounds like a dumb question but any help would be great!

  • @QUESTED As I understood it, I believe that you have NO NEED to take it to an FFL at all...As LONG as you build it 'Cali' Legal'. A person can make any gun that isn't prohibited to them (ie: a machine gun, a short barreled rifle, etc) Unless of course you're a Class 3 ) I would recomend Stamping a "serial" number and maybe your initials or something that shows that YOU built it here in the USA, and for your own use.

  • @zymyn11 Yeah that's what I was thinking. Ill look around for ak build parties now

    thank you a lot!

  • OMG Americans are learning to built there very own AK47 just like the Russian students do in Sheet Metal Class...

  • @manny298 Well, they say we are the next 3rd world country....about time we started learning the skills needed to survive!

  • @Duckyistrippin agreed.

  • @manny298 with the same alchohol blood levels lol jk jk

  • @manny298 lol

  • i was curious, what are the feddie laws on building a ak for personal use?

  • @famasdan There are no federal laws regarding it. As a matter of fact, if you live in a pretty unrestricted state like I do, you do not have to even register it!

  • @1776PatriotTeen ive got to find out my state laws then , i actually think they are trying to pass a bill but it didnt make it intime so it might take another two years in my state to allow what you are doing here. i wish i could be a cheap awsome project.

  • @1776PatriotTeen Really where did you get you information from?

  • Interesting, I have seen five ways to bend a flat so far and all seem to work. Kalashnikov was a genius with his design to have so many variants work so well.
