I understand that you really like America, so I suppose you like American cars, but European cars are the best, they are refined and beautiful, especially the Italian cars because the Italians have a big heritage in arts and design.
@Egereinnogadeins yeah...they make beautyful car but not reliable ones :)) my uncle has one of these,the 2.4l petrol version 175hp and the engine after like 100,000 km started to make strange noises and fuel consumption...let's say a mustang it's more economical than that shit wrapped in a very very beautiful package :)

@xxxtoxxxandxxx though it's not a reliable car you can't say it's shit. and there is a small percent of people that put the aesthetics in front of functionality, and it isn't really a big deal. I'm one of them and as I can see you aren't. But that isn't a reason to call nice looking things but unreliable "shit wrapped in a very very beautiful package".
@Amigoivo I know right now i'm driving a Chrysler 300C, but maybe my next car will be a thesis... to bad they are so F****N expensive here in holland. Our government seems to think that if you can afford a nice car, you can pay bit more in taxes and gas-guzzler taxes. I think the base price is somwhere in the 50-60000 euro region. By the way, what kind of consumption do you get with yours? Is it a diesel?
@jml8841 I drive a 2.0 Turbo Benzin Thesis, in Germany i had around 10,5 - 11 l/100km here in suisse on the sleepy slow autobahn ;-) with 100-120km/h i had at least 8,5 l/100km, tho official Lancia fuel consumption for my Thesis is 10,6 l/100km.
I know some Thesis drivers from Holland, and when we talk about the "high" taxes in Germany (in my case 136 Euro/year), they smile about us. :-)

The 2.0Turbo was only built until 2005 or 2006, if you buy a newer Thesis the most are equipped with the 2.4L Diesel @ 175 and 185PS, or the 3.2L Benzin with 230PS. Bye Ivo

Du lässt dich einfach von der ganzen Propaganda einschüchtern. Wir fahren seit 1999 einen Alfa Romeo 156 2.0 TS und läuft einwandfrei was ich zustimmen muss sind nur die leichten geräusche die man ab und zu hören muss die verarbeitung ist auch nicht auf Mercedesniveau aber deswegen bezahlst du den Alfa auch weniger! Zum Thema Lancia gibts es sehr wenig zu bemängeln wenn überhaupt. Wir haben letzte Woche den Lancia Delta bestellt und man fühlt sich im Auto als wär man im Wohnzimmer!!!

l fatto è che ci hanno inculcato negli anni che le uniche vere macchine di lusso dal 2.0 di cilindrata in poi sono solo le tedeschi... nulla di più sbagliato... noi in famiglia abbiamo avuto una stilo 1.9 jtd 140cv, ora abbiamo una mercedes C 200cdi e non c'è niente a cui vedere... come si viaggiava sulla stilo non ho mai viaggiato... la mercedes è troppo bassa, troppo rigida e ad ogni curva sembra che prenda il giro!
il brutto delle mercedes e delle auto tedesche in genere è che sono grandi fuori e piccole dentro,ho viaggiato in una 190 e in una golf e si stà stretti nell'abitacolo.

I agree, because I have one of the first models out lancia thesis emblema 2,4L diesel in black. It is a leasing car and I will have to return it after 5 years. february 2008 was our 5th aniversary. we will be missing the thesis. we have decided to go for a cheaper car and not so beautiful. the c5 from citroen. well, not everybody is a millionär. the company we work for gives us a limited budget. maybe, when the new thema will come out... in 2010, we will lease it! good bye my dear thesis.

Meine Hoffnung ist, dass sich irgendwelche Italiener sich auf eine Übernahme durch Alfa und Lancia interessieren. Nur durch die Unabhengigkeit von Fiat können Alfa und Lancia auf Gewinne zielen. Fiat denkt nur an sich.

l fatto è che ci hanno inculcato negli anni che le uniche vere macchine di lusso dal 2.0 di cilindrata in poi sono solo le tedeschi... nulla di più sbagliato... noi in famiglia abbiamo avuto una stilo 1.9 jtd 140cv, ora abbiamo una mercedes C 200cdi e non c'è niente a cui vedere... come si viaggiava sulla stilo non ho mai viaggiato... la mercedes è troppo bassa, troppo rigida e ad ogni curva sembra che prenda il giro!

il brutto delle mercedes e delle auto tedesche in genere è che sono grandi fuori e piccole dentro,ho viaggiato in una 190 e in una golf e si stà stretti nell'abitacolo.

allora non hai capito,io stavo parlando delle macchine tedesche in genere dove anche se sono lunghe 5 metri e rotti hanno i sedili troppo vicini tra loro lasciando poco spazio alle gambe e lo stesso vale x la golf,dove un'altra auto,a parità di lunghezza è più comoda xkè ha i sedili più distanziati.

Vero, mio papà aveva la BMW serie 5 e con le ginocchia toccavo i sedili davanti.
La X5 ha molto più spazio invece.
Comunque la Thesis mi piace anche perchè è l'auto di lusso Italiana ;-)

I love this car
When i visited the ferrari museum i saw bunch of people from the ferrari owners club and they all arrived in a thesis. Its also a car you either love or hate. Italians are just wonderful :) (im not italian :D)

I agree, because I have one of the first models out lancia thesis emblema 2,4L diesel in black. It is a leasing car and I will have to return it after 5 years. february 2008 was our 5th aniversary. we will be missing the thesis. we have decided to go for a cheaper car and not so beautiful. the c5 from citroen. well, not everybody is a millionär. the company we work for gives us a limited budget. maybe, when the new thema will come out... in 2010, we will lease it! good bye my dear thesis.

Stupendo, emozionante filmato che cela l'uscita di strada della nostra regina di casa Lancia...Thesis. Sogno proibito, mal osservata dagli esterofili ha saputo imporsi a pieni voti, racchiudendo al suo interno un vero e proprio salotto e con un cuore rotondo e vigoroso che non sa tirarsi indietro a qualunque compromesso.
