  • Thank you so VERY very much for your precious, obviously heart-felt work in keeping this angel alive for the world. I appreciate all you do.

  • @LinMingXin

Thank you very much for your kind praise. I am glad that you enjoy my small work.

  • i love this song...my favorite song number when we have show in japan before...

  • Walaupun aku tak faham tapi inilah lagu yang paling aku suka. Terima Kasih masami

  • Very, very good song, an excellent rendition. The translation into English is the most important part for us, non Japanese speaking fans.

    Thanks masami.

  • @1dajiang

  • Wonderful video!

  • Sentimental and touching,

    beautiful images.

    Thank you very much !

  • A lovely and sad song.

    Thank you for sharing.

  • nice japanese song luv it! thanks for posting....

  • thank you so much for uploadng this song i really admire Teresa Ten (RIP) her songs are very popular to filipina like me

  • Thank you for posting so many japanese songs sang by Teresa Teng, I didn't know that she sang so many japanese songs!

  • Many thanks for your English translation. At least now I understand the whole story of this romantic song. One last question if it is correct : 私の手料理 wa oisi desu ka. (Is my home cook delicious?)

  • I hope so.

  • @Camp200789 oishii

  • I enjoyed this song again and have a different feeling this time. I could not fully catch up the meaning of the second part.

From 一人で覚えた 手料理を to くもり空なら いつも逢いたい appreciate your English translation but no rush at all. Arigatoo gozaimasu.

  • I have prepared my English translation of the whole lyrics. Please enjoy.

She misses him so match, and feels like there is a chance that he will be back to see her when there is a heavy rainfall.

  • Masami-san:

Thx for translating the heartrending lyric - it helps greatly in appreciating this sad song! Thx also for the exquisite video, I really like the mix of Japanese rain scenes with our beloved Teresa.

  • Thank you for you compliment although my translation is always not poetic and disappointing to the viewers.

  • Ok many thanks and appreciated your explanation. So the three different Kanji prounounce alike Meguri megutte?

  • Yes, you are correct.

    巡る (meguru)

    廻る (meguru)

    回る (meguru)

Based on the conjugation of the Japanese verbs, the Hiragana part after Kanji changes like the expression used in the lyrics, e.g. 巡って (pronounced as "megutte").

  • めぐりめぐって 今は恋しい

Is there a Kanji for めぐり ? 思い = omoi

This is a nice song with a beautiful video.

    Arigatoo gojaimasu.

  • There are the following three Kanji (漢字) (Chinese characters) for Meguru as a verb all of which have substantially the same meaning, i.e., go around, tour around and the like:

    巡る

    廻る

    回る

In the lyrics, 廻り廻って (Meguri megutte)means after turning of seasons.

  • thnx for sharing the song masami lovely

  • Thank you so much for this, masami. It is a beautiful video of a beautiful and powerful song sung with exquisite perfection by the incomparable Teresa Teng.

  • Thank you.

  • I love the beautiful raindops on the video. They seem to represent the mixed feelings toward the lover in this song.

  • Beautiful, beautiful song!!! I love it very much!
