Well if you look at it, norwegian, even more so than swedish is just a mix of german, english and french. So for anyone who known any of those languages it is a lot easier to learn Norwegian than for those who don't speak any of those.

It's justified my friend. Do it and you will not be disappointed. But if you really insist on going down the Gandhi way, then so be it. Either way, you will see results. The non-violent way sets a good example but comes at a price: takes a while; ultimately, killing many lives, but you can go down the road of murder (pretty much being them) and prevent many deaths, but this victory will only be won for a short term.
