@XxSkaterConxX No coaster scares us tbh, but Green Lantern is much tamer than Kingda Ka or El Toro, if that helps. If you can ride Superman or Batman, then you should have no problem riding Green Lantern.

After riding both of them, Riddler's Revenge is by far my preference. Chang was fun and had some elements that were lacking in Riddler's Revenge but Riddler's Revenge is so much more forceful!

@JbBepBtr I read in the Courier-Journal today that they are most likely going to reopen if they get it approved. I think the Louisville Metro is going to help with 17.5 million dollars. Another guy is adding money as well. It's a great tourist attraction and it will make many jobs, 1,000 summer jobs to be exact. I think they need to revamp it. I think they are going to focus on the water park more than anything but also add more family rides.
@BulletBikeFlameFlyer They are both so similar that;s it's very hard to rate one above the other. Riddler's Revenge seems to rank higher, but that's most likely because more people have ridden it. That will also likely change once Green Lantern opens at Six Flags Great Adventure this spring. I'm sure that it will be voted the best stand-up coaster in the world by the end of the year.

Wow this ride always made me shiver with excitement every time i seen it... It was probably one of the best rides i've ever ridden... It had this roaring sound when the train passed over the track pieces... IT WAS AWSOME!! I dont think the people who go to Great Adventure really knows how lucky they are to get this ride...Wish the park could have stayed open.

@Nerfinators69 Every new coaster has had 2-3 hour wait times the year they opened at Six Flags Great Adventure, even the Dark Knight. So expect something similar, especially since this is a standup, which takes a bit longer to load than most.
@SandVProductions97 having ridden both Chang is much better. The drop is larger yet most of the elements are the same size making the trains travel through them faster making the ride more forceful. On top of that there aren't any trims on the drop and the ride is much smoother and the second half is much different.
@ThatOneManInLife comfortable, on the condition that you sit in the first four rows and in a middle seat. back two rows whip you around, fifth row is questionable, but the first four are fine. if you sit on an outer seat, the only thing you should be worried about is that sharp lateral turn before the mid-brake-run. it whips the cars upright, and is hard on the outer seats, but other that that, the outside seats are fine.

@TheThundercoaster Chang also has a larger drop which makes the loops and elements much more forceful and it also does not have a trimmed drop. ALso changs second half had to be changed completely to add the extra corkscrew.
@xr3b3ll10nx Well, it's made by the same company, and just about every coaster company incorporates similar elements in most of their types. Just about every stand-up coaster I've ridden has a first vertical loop, then a diving loop to either the left or right. I've also seen the tilted helix and tilted loop following. Most stand-ups by B&M are similar, so are B&M inverted and flyings. It's just their thing. Other companies do it too, but B&M does it very well.

@MrWalrusGuy2 GASM (lol at the abbreviation) was such a violent roller coaster. I never rode it after the first 2 times because it hurt so much. Clearly I was not the only person that no longer liked it. I personally am glad they are replacing it. That being said, looks like I am getting a season pass next year too.

I wish I would have rode this... unfortunately when I went to SFKK in 2007 I was 14 and too much of a wimp for this... I rode a ride almost just like it at Cedar Point in August 2010; by then I could pretty much ride anything.

Am very disappointed they took out the Great American Scream Machine at Six Flags: Great Adventure, that was one of my top 20 Coasters.

@Nerfinators69 Every new coaster has had 2-3 hour wait times the year they opened at Six Flags Great Adventure, even the Dark Knight. So expect something similar, especially since this is a standup, which takes a bit longer to load than most.

It's basically a mirrior image of Mantis at Cedar Point. Six Flags needs to be more creative.

@SandVProductions97 having ridden both Chang is much better. The drop is larger yet most of the elements are the same size making the trains travel through them faster making the ride more forceful. On top of that there aren't any trims on the drop and the ride is much smoother and the second half is much different.

To anybody who has ridden this before. How comfortable is it?

@ThatOneManInLife comfortable, on the condition that you sit in the first four rows and in a middle seat. back two rows whip you around, fifth row is questionable, but the first four are fine. if you sit on an outer seat, the only thing you should be worried about is that sharp lateral turn before the mid-brake-run. it whips the cars upright, and is hard on the outer seats, but other that that, the outside seats are fine.

@TheThundercoaster Chang also has a larger drop which makes the loops and elements much more forceful and it also does not have a trimmed drop. ALso changs second half had to be changed completely to add the extra corkscrew.

@xr3b3ll10nx Well, it's made by the same company, and just about every coaster company incorporates similar elements in most of their types. Just about every stand-up coaster I've ridden has a first vertical loop, then a diving loop to either the left or right. I've also seen the tilted helix and tilted loop following. Most stand-ups by B&M are similar, so are B&M inverted and flyings. It's just their thing. Other companies do it too, but B&M does it very well.

@MrWalrusGuy2 GASM (lol at the abbreviation) was such a violent roller coaster. I never rode it after the first 2 times because it hurt so much. Clearly I was not the only person that no longer liked it. I personally am glad they are replacing it. That being said, looks like I am getting a season pass next year too.
