Don't you put some kind of heat protection on your hair? I always did it without even moisturising my hair but everyone says I'm doing damage to my hair by not applying heat protection before blow drying.

Summary of what I do: co-wash weekly with any V05 conditioner (low residue); diluted apple cider vinegar rinse every 2 weeks (really cleans, corrects porosity, makes silkier); deep condition weekly with honey/olive oil/coconut oil/glycerin mix (going to add banana and egg this week); shea butter/olive oil/coconut oil/glycerin instead of grease; spray with water/glycerin mix everyday.

My hair has been natural for over ten year, but have a hard time retaining the growth. From time-to-time I would flat iron my hair or wear braids. However, my hair always seem to break at the root - it is driving me crazy. Now after, watching your videos I have stop flat ironing my hair and have tried to was braid out style. What I find happen now is that my hair sheds a lot, it is still breaking at the root and I continue to get knots at the end of my hair strands. Please help!

i just started growing my hair last month and right now they're almost about to be 5 cm long. i'm confused if i should start picking my hair cause right now i'm only combing it. i have really nappy hair so every time i comb through it, tons of tiny hairs fall out. should i be worried? am i doing something wrong?

@ClubBangerTV My hair's really nappy too. Don't comb your hair dry. Comb with lots of conditioner in or right after a wash with lots of leave-in and oils in. Cconditioners and oils give it slip, so it won't tangle as much. Be extremely patient with your hair; don't comb from the roots, start from the tips, take your time to comb each small section. When you hit a knot, tease it out carefully. Also try co-washing instead of shampooing. Your hair won't dry out as much so it won't tangle as much.

@screwyhair Thanks for the tips. I needed to know the proper regime for washing and combing. I've been combing it dry for a while and I noticed when I did comb it wet, less hairs came out. I tried the extra virgin olive oil but felt kinda stupid as I was doing it. I'll try to look into co-washing, right now my hair is starting to smell and I'm afraid as to which products I should use. I want to use as much organic products as possible. If you have any suggestions for that, let me know.
