  • just bought some my self and wondering how do you transport then from gig to gig to make sure that they don't get damaged in transport - did you make a case or buy something

  • @mmdjent i transport mine in the original box they came in,

  • Hi.

If you have 2 of those moving heads. Can you have them do the same thing without using DMX controller or anything. Just by connecting them both by dmx cable? Sorry im new to all of the 'DMX area' Thanx

  • I got 2 of these for 30 dollars :)

i swear im not even joking, brand new and everything.

  • @cutechicken143 where

  • @cutechicken143

  • What supplies do they come with? Brackets? Screws? Dmx cord?

  • @TheMIXstation mine came with all that.

  • just wondering can you program the light to move to what you want it to do or is it just self programmed by itself

  • @dachickenify yes they have a dmx input so u can make em do what ever you want.

    Can anyone help?

  • @SplatfireProductions yep spot on. it should have some instructions in the manual.

  • Hi mate... ive since purchased a set of these lights... but i have them running in auto mode fast... what i want to know is how do i use the lights on sound active??? not sure which setting to use ??? any info appreciated...

    thanks

  • wow i love these lights,i have looked just for them on a site spectrum light and sound .co.uk and the are doing them for £99 free p+p cheers for the vid i didnt know they exsited

  • @djmorgan27 Hey, have you bought them of that website? I am interested in them and on eBay they was £149 each. Have you bought them of that website?

  • @OneStopDiscos i havent bought any yet but im realy thinking about it, at the moment ive started to save up to get some so i will keep you posted as and when i do

  • @djmorgan27 Ok thanks dude, I would like to see what they look like. I email the website asking about them.

  • thanks for this vid. I am a average mobile DJ like your self, and i have been looking at these lights some time umm'ing and are'ing about buying a couple. after all you can get some excellent chinese stuff and then you can get some really crap chinese rubbish. and it's always a gamble to which your buying.

  • hi mate, first of all thanks for the video...its absolutly excellent and you go through everything with a fine tooth comb.. its great to see you posting this up for people who just want to see how the lights are on sound active or auto mode wihtout getting into the trouble of learning programming through dmx etc. i cant seem to find the actual chauvet light anywhere but there seems to be plenty of copies e.g QTX and other such generic issues.do u know if they would they function the same?

  • @celticboxingfan im pretty sure they do, but ive never had a chavet

  • @A1partydjs - strange?? were they not chauvet's in the video ? anyway i think the generic ones will work more or less the same... thanks for this.

  • Thanks

  • How is the peformance of the mini moving head?

  • @BWASA1 fine , to get the best out of them u will need to use dmx.

  • hey can i have a link from where u got them from

  • @navy1598 try ebay

  • @A1partydjs k thankws

  • Once again, great review! Gary

  • showtec?

  • Cool light John.... looks nice! :)

  • Good review. I was thinking about getting a pair of these. I Would love to see more of the footage you had of them mounted at the in the beginning. I have a pair of the ADJ DJ Spot 250 but they are big and heavy.

  • whoa. for the price, you can't beat that. it's plenty bright for most of the gigs that i do. i am definitely going to look into this one.

thanks for the great review john.

  • Nice video John.

  • yeah i wasnt a massive fan of them. i borrowed one from ash and it wasnt very bright but yes u are right for the price its good.

  • Thanks great Ideas. I have some of the same lights

  • they look pretty good!

  • i love these lights. i got mine for 175/pc!

  • @mystasynasta ye thats about equal to 250 Australian

  • It is great to have a review that actually is unbiased and discusses disadvantages of a light. Hopefully others will follow suit and provide more useful product reviews. Great job!

  • @DJOmega80 thank you , when r we gonna see some more vids from u ??

  • @A1partydjs I uploaded a few videos, but they got muted so I just gave up. I have plenty of raw footage, but i don't want to waste the time editing it if it is just going to get muted. Maybe I'll reconsider at some point.

  • Very nice John... Now I've seen 'em working! lol

  • Hi,

Very good review - I'm thinking about getting one of these and wondered if they have the ability to dim?

The lights look really smooth in motion and are nice and quick!

If programmed properly I recon these can be better than scanners :)

  • How much are they?

  • Nice moving head and great price

  • I was looking at these moving heads when I was looking for some. I ended up going with some 150HTI Discharge ones though.

The LED ones do look pretty bright though!

  • your not just average.....

  • That's why you can change the pan and tilt Mr.Beck so then it doesn't face the wall or the floor all the time ( I admit you need to have them mounted upright for this to work though). I have been using two of these same lights for about a year now and they are a good effect especially for the start of nights on slow mode as an atmospheric background.

  • Nice.

  • I think that's a dam good price.

  • Like you said good for small applications. I interested to see how you mounted them facing the dance floor.

    Big I

  • nice review. but never say the work cheep all way say affordable u know and they know but i will gave a go for 250 dollar were can i get some from

  • John,

Nice product review! These are great Min Spots! Great for small parties... specially with fog... I've had 4x for a while but then decided to sell em on ebay... needed a much brighter moving head... so, I went with Q Wash LED... no spots but hella bright... =)

    Dominic

  • John to make the lights not shine backwards thats is what the Limit Pan and Tilt are for so you limit it to only shine out towards to Audeince and not your self

  • pretty nice, im thinking of picking a couple of them up :)
