I would use Magus, Crono and Ayla against Queen Zeal. If you use Magus here, you'll hear Magus theme song.

my favorite boss battle in this game, hands down.

getting to shut her blabbering face up is awesome, not to mention the charms :)

I have a few tips when fighting this power-crazed whore:

Use crono/ayla/marle instead of robo. confuse (Frenzy) and iceberg toss should be your primary attacks, dealing about 5,000 damage each full turn of attack. not to mention marle has aura whirl which def. helps to heal everyone from the 999 to 1 hp attack of death.

you can get 3 prism helms and 3 prism dress from this boss if you fight first in 1000 AD, then 600 AD and finally in 12,000 B.D

Ah that's right, she says it's too late cuz Lavos already destroyed the world and she's immortal blah blah. I do remember having to still fight that stupid mutant though.

Anyone else love the art direction of the Black Omen and Ocean Palace. The whole 12000 BC thing is amazing.

Queen Zeal is one of my favorite characters in Chrono Trigger she's so tragic

Good fight. One interesting point though. If you brought Magus with you in this fight, he'll have a bit more dialogue with Zeal and the music for the fight will be "Battle with Magus" (which I find more fitting).
