The pilot whales are about 100,000 - 500,000 in the world where we only kill about 300 a year of them with more than enough time to reproduce.

@mrRunist I think you missed the point about the Nazis there. The point is you can't justify killing by claiming it to be fast and efficient. I think you also misunderstood the meaning of the monkey scenes in the video - the point is despite our advances in science and technology we are still bashing animal's brains in claiming them to be unconscious (without any evidence to suggest so) and on the Earth to serve our needs. @Doiden So you don´t think we shall kill animals at all? Then sweep your own doorstep. Cows, chickens, pigs etc. are slaughtered in millions and they have very bad living conditions before they die. The whales live free until they die. We have to kill animals in order to get the right diet which we don´t find in vegetables (Proteins etc.). I understood it but it wasn´t right, therefor irrelevant. I´m not claiming anything, but when you look at animals you do get enough evidence.

@mrRunist The whales are not killed in 1-2 seconds, the whole experience lasts much longer if you add the time it takes to herd the terrififed, confused and stressed animals into the bay, hook them in the blowhole as they are thrashing around in a mad panic and drag them into the shallows and then slice the spinal cord. Once again please show your evidence that animals do not feel conscious pain.

@Doiden I was discussing it with you before and I was saying that "if" they were felling pain they don´t suffer. The whole experience, yes. When they first suffer that´s when they first feel pain. The hooks made for the blowhole have a ball in the end which makes the whales don´t suffer or feel any harm. Where have you got all this false information?

@Doiden If you would´ve read my comments properly you would´ve seen that I am merely putting a question to if animals have a consciousness to feel pain. Also I was saying that "if" they were feeling pain... I definetly don´t think that animals shall suffer cause "if"... I am vegan and do not believe we need to kill animals for food, and being vegan does affect your heath - it improves it! No surgeon ever cut open the veins of heart attack victim and found vegetables blocking the system! Look up the facts, you can get all the protein you need!

I were talking that instead of focusing on this propaganda which only makes lies and anger and making people look away from the real animal sufferings. No surgeon has ever found meat in the veins either.... You are talking about fat in the veins I believe. If you eat meat you don´t have to throw trucks of meat in you, if done so, eating meat is healthier than being a vegan which makes vital nutritions that you only find in meat reduce.

@lilisigel I am not worrying... The pilot whales are not innocent neither full of guilt.. They are just animals and they are here to make the world better, making it more diverse and feeding people. They are animals with no consciousness and not able to think but act by instincts and therefor don´t do anything in their right meaning to harm anyone. It´s necessary to kill animals to get food and this is the same as killing a cow etc... Whatever that darkness thing was, I didn´t really get it.

Yet that does not give us the rights to do whatever we please with them, such as tormenting them. This is not the case in the Faroe Islands. We do our best to not make them suffer, which they don´t. With the normal "grinda" - knife when first penetrating they die within 1 - 2 seconds.

Animals are not humans and therefor do not have the consciousness to know that they are feeling pain but have an instinct saying when they have pain. Even coonsidering the fact they were having consciousness for pain they wouldn´t suffer in the whale killing. It look brutal. They are big animals and therefor loose a lot of blood. Diet: Where do you get your proteins from then?

These whales have no chance of suffering unless they stab themselves... We have a very efficient and humane way to kill the whales. The whales are cut into the spine in which makes them die within 1 - 2 seconds when the knife first penetrates. There´s also a new invention called "mønustingarin" which allows the whales to die within mili seconds.

This reality is more horrific than what Hollywood can come up with. I have not seen the word slaughter used so appropriately in a long time.
Children are most impressionable, they learn by example of what is acceptable...there needs to be more adults taking a stand and deeming this to be unacceptable and make it a memory of the past and show progress and compassion. These people must turn off their emotion & conscience buttons to carry out such acts. A low point of humanity.
