Well, Maya does have good voice, and maybe as good as Teresa on some other songs, but not on this one as her voice is simply not soft enough to seamlessly interpret this particular song perfectly. As for the guy, the best male singer for this particular song is the late Leslie Chang of Hong Kong, who in my opinion is even better than Teresa as he sang this song with such great ease and softness that just couldn't be found any place else.

Well, as a non-native speaker of Mandarin, she is pretty good, especially her pronunciation of "zhen (true)" in Chinese is very good, usually, this is the character that many non-Chinese speakers flunk on. But still, you can tell she does not speak the language. Actually, the guy next to her had the best male rendition of the song that I have ever heard, but again, he is Chinese, so it's not that of a surprise.
