i walked down the path at the side of the train track earlyer this year and im sure it wasnt as bumpy as that,, may be they have improved it since you made this video,, im planning on doing it on my bike im realy into mtb-ing,, what time of the year is this aloud?
I have been up there a few times on DH bikes. I pushed my Scott High Octane up the last 2 times. Took about 2 hours to get up it and about 8 mins to ride down. Did it on a hard tail once. Never Again!
Amazing video! Walked up Snowdon last year (Watkin Path), going back this year in October and riding up/down it. That Llanberis trail looks like a good one, may well follow that! :)
Hi. I was intending to do Lanberis up & Ranger's down, but visibility was hopeless at the summit & for a fair way down, so I didn't fancy risking it on my own. I went back down Llanberis & actually it was a blast :-)
I just did a walk up the miners trail and down knifes edge on foot , my hat goes off to you , I was knakerd walking it , braver perso than I will ever be =-)
me and my brothers unicycled up and down the lamberis path and it was april but when we got to the top there was about 2 foot of snow everywhere and on the railing at the sumit there where 1 foot long horizontal icicles!! it was awsome
Ace vid. That helmet cam did pritty well considerin! well so did u guys! lol. ive dun Malvern Hills this summer, but this looks great. Jst go out n do it! screw grumpy walkers, probs caus they never gonna get down as quick as u! gd test for bike too, with all rocky paths! how long it take you?
Thats really really cool! I've climbed Mt Snowdon many times via the Pyg trail route from Pen-y-pass. Where were you guys cycling?...what route?? Is it the actual Snowdon that everyone climbs? I've never come across any MTbikers there before. I'd love to try that. how long did it take?
Hey mtbph, I was one of the lads in the film, great to see it on utube, regarding the comments we did the ride within the agreement of the mountain, no riding between may and october, this was april. Most of the walkers were great only a few were arses, but Ive walked snowdon many times and you get arsey walkers even if your also on foot!! I recommend everyone does this ride at least once in there lifetime....
Hi matey. Sorry, haven't been keeping up with Youtube for ages. It was a great ride, despite the occasional rude walker. Keep meaning to do it again sometime, at a quiter time of day.
Llanberis up & down. I was originally planning to do the Ranger's path down, but as you can tell from the video, the visibility was dreadful, so I decided to play it safe & have some fun down Llanberis.
I have done this ride a few times but I can't believe the number of walkers out on the hill. You must have picked a really sensible time to go and do this....
I went up nowdon a few days ago, and if you look up "A flight over snowden", then you can see snowden really well, It's an aeroplane flight i went on and my dad filmed it.
Good work. A couple of questions though: 1. Which route is this? I don't recognise most of it, so i'm guessing you took the Llanberis track?? 2. Are you all on full suspension bikes? I can't imagine the ride up would have been easy with them sapping all your energy, however coming down must have made it that much more fun!
calm down zarnticolz, cyclest should really be on there bikes between 7am - 5pm or something. but anyway even if this wasnt filmed then or people go down there anyway the mountain isnt just for walkers!!! I have climbed this and its hard work with just me and a bag, with a bike probably hard work. I would take my bike up because that looks so much fun. how long did it take to get up and down? Nice video, music works well, quite long though but i guess you edited from hours!!
wots the legality on me blasting up that on a 500cc?

Hey thanks mate. It was a heck of a climb, and shame the visibility was zero at the top, but the descent is worth it :-)
