I still have 35lbs to goal but I just love trying & buying new styles. I wore a minidress today - couldn't do that when I was in my 20s!

First off, cute coat! I really like it. you look so cute all bundled up! Omg, I can't imagine wearing a small anything. My big day is scheduled for 12/21 and so I hope I have a "small" some where in my future.
I never imagined I would ever get into a small, I fully expected to just be a medium ... or a large. It is a surprise to me every day. Good luck on your surgery. :)
What fantastic progress in 9 1/2 months. I understand what you mean about your body and mind not syncing. I am shocked when I see pics of me thin and fat! I guess my mind sees myself at what I looked like at about 190 right now.--Which is progress. I finally feel I look less than 200 (mentally).
I know, it's crazy how distanced we are from reality at times. I love that jacket too, I'll have to find some ski pants and go for a snowboarding lesson once the season starts. That would be fun!
I had to favorite this video... I can relate to EVERYTHING you are saying. I was comparing this yr & last yr's Halloween pics, and it saddens me as well, that I've let the weight be in control of me for 20 years. Today is my 29th bday, & i feel better than I've ever felt. I still have a long way to go still, but love every min of it. Just wish my brain would catch up 2 my body FASTER! That's my hardest problem. You look AMAZING girl! Inspiring! :)
You are awesome Sarah, thanks!!! I wish I had done this at 28 years old, I probably would have been in a very different place today. But, everything happens for a reason. Its funny, Just when I think I am getting used to it, I realize I am smaller than I think yet again. I am sure you can relate. It's crazy how fast the changes happen. I know the angle has a lot to do with it, but the pics I just posted on FB make me look super skinny I think. I was looking at them and was like "WHOAAA!!".

I loved that you mentioned Amelia's video. I literally cried when she posted the pirate video last year. You know, the very same thing someone else is doing right now watching yours. I am so happy for you.
Thanks! I am actually getting into a junior's size 7 now. I think Amelia has done a fantastic job at mentoring so many people. Her videos are a great resource. And yes, that change! When I was getting ready for surgery, I was addicted to before and after videos. It is inspiring to see the change. I think sometimes it can be easier for other people to see it. I still have days when I feel fat. I am starting to have confidence once again, which feels amazing. Everyone should feel this good. :)

You have changed your life for the better and i bet you that it's just starting to get good and there is much more ahead of you that will be GREAT! I am happy for you and wish you all the best as you continue on your journey. Be sure to practice extreme self care and pinch yourself every once in a while to know that this is "real". Stay healthy!
