Its a chinese lantern, obviously. With the camera going in and out of focus it changes the shape, I would bet the deed to my house this is a chinese lantern or some other 'floating candle' type object commonly released at celebrations.

I hate reading these comments because people always say lanterns. I've seen UFOs like this 1 before. They hang in the sky silently, for several minutes even hours sometimes. When they leave they can fly silently very low and fast, and are capable of morphing to mimic helicopters or planes. The 1s I've seen usually disappear into heavily wooded areas, where they can maneuver through thick brush with ease.

what you are seeing is a lantern made with a garbage bag that has a styrofoam ring inside that is covered in birthday cake candles . We used to make them in collage ,

as they burnt out the entire thing catches on fire and as the garbage bag melts ,

it drops blobs of plastic on fire . it looks cool . but definatley not alien .

My son and I saw the exact same thing on this date, Sept. 25, 2010 in Toledo, OH. @ 11:25pm. I was just as fascinated by this as you were and called our local news station. Look up the date among NASA and Russian space programs and see if any items, debris or satellites were scheduled to come down. Clearly it shows something hot, the glow. Then combustion and you can see the clear distortion of the atmosphere. Being something like a satellite coming in on a slow angel, it would remain for some time and burn so nothing actually lands. Distance, curve of earth and 3D axis of object can play trick w/ the eyes giving illusion it moves.

Seen exact seame thing in Aug 1996 - 2 different ones on 2 different days -- numerous other reports here around same time. Who knows what they are. I speculate they might be some kind of probes with plasma shielding for deep space travel from somewhere else. saw the exact same thing in hayle,cornwall, england over the sea on the 22 7 09 at around the same time. i have video which shows same thing but no way near as much zoom, i saw it move at first at around the speed of a commercial airliner. then it all of a sudden froze! then two minutes later it faded into the distance. it came from the west over sea so it must have come from over the atlantic, meaning it could have travelled from the USA. it was the most strange thing i have ever seen!!!

This is very poor filming & makes it very hard to be believable. . Camera shake is the problem. Anybody who looks at this can't tell if the object suddenly dissapears into the distance or it's you zooming out -and then in. Add to that camera shake and its very poor. It could be anything, I'm not sure. Only you know what you saw. You need to rest your elbows very firmlyon something at height
