I must have been Mountaineer Week and there were probably a few graduated Mountaineers on hand for the events.

The Mountaineer still fires his musket at every game. Once when the team runs out onto the field, at at every score. I don't know why the Mountaineer in this clip has two muskets -- I don't remember ever seeing that before. The sound effect when he fires it is pretty lame, too -- I should have put in a better one before posting. It sounds pretty loud at the games, not that pathetic "pweet."

The music was performed by the Joe Negri Trio out of Pittsburgh. Joe also appeared many times on "Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood" as a local musician.

My dad was the defensive cooridnator and special teams coach. It was my senior year at WVU. What a great game that was and the memories were oh so sweet
