@DavemHell Yes this is a real app and it is not fake; look it up on iTunes. I have it for the iPhone and it works quite well. In fact it was a few seconds ahead of the TV, although that could be down to the fact that I was watching digital TV.

this is not a fake, i have it for the iphone and belive me, works really well in real time...i watch the race on tv and on the iphone at the same time and its really amazing...i can follow any driver at any time....its the best ever application i had..

its the official app of the F1 championship so i think they take the data in real time from the teams and its not so difficult with the transponders...

you can see the same information except for the dots of the cars running in the official f1 web

This application is a fake. It will need data that not even the F1 teams are getting. If they did, then Massa's father wouldn't celebrated an inexistent Championship on 2008.
