Well company just bought NX5 after a 2 year search for a new CAD system. It came done to Catia and NX5. We make decortive lighting an need the power for large assby and complex surfaces for ornate castings.
What to model next. I would try to model something like popular a Star wars toy or Ipod. This will atract more viewers.
There are alot or Catia demos on youtube. check them out and maybe do the same thing.
Thanks for your comments. I had just uploaded the second part an a gatorade bottle. I'm thinking about the third part with the control assambly. But then I'm afraid have no more ideas. Could you do any suggestion?

i use ug nx4 in my work
i learn it for myself without any prof. training.
the free surface tool is very similar to catia v5
but the programm itself have many bugs on measuring and so on.maybe correct that in never versions
