I saw 3 Norfolks in Decatur earlier this weekend. Me and my mom saw this one that was so close to this crossing and it activated the crossing just after we went over the crossing.
Outstanding! You really get the feel for how fast he's moving. 60+ mph is typical track speed in my area for CSX intermodal traffic (and 79 for Amtrak) -- it's hard not to really pay attention to something that big moving that fast! Nice capture!
I wonder why there is no gates here.
